Allison House Inn

I went to Quincy to pick up an airplane I'd bought and just needed a bunk for the night. I was beat after a long day of air travel. Although it was just me, a rather rugged looking traveling dude, I got the full B&B service! Stuart picked me up at the Quincy airport and set me up with the nicest room I've ever stayed in. Tea and sherry for a night cap. A great breakfast of whatever you want (I ate light-a few butterflys before a flight in a new plane). After all that, he dropped me off at the airport in the morning. All this service and treatment for $80!!!! My wife is very jealous and I've had to promise her a stay at the Allison House Inn! I'll gladly oblige her. I'm not one for frivality, but if you need a place to stay, the Allison House is the best there is. Stuart and Eileen, you're the best and I'll see you again!

What a beautiful bed & breakfast! Very comfortable, as if I were staying in an English country home! Stuart & Elaine are very welcoming & accommodating! Loved the Garden Room... pretty florals & antiques, was impressed w/the large room! And breakfast was delicious & delightful! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed every aspect of this Bed and Breakfast experience. Our host and hostess were warm,friendly and welcoming. The room was so clean and well decorated in a romantic-wicker-English way. Breakfast was yummy and we met another couple to share stories with. PLEASE consider Allison House when you are in Quincey.

I would rate the Allison House Inn as one of my top five B&Bs. I've stayed in approximately 18 inns in the last few years. Very homey, excellent food and service.

We were well taken care of during our stay. We enjoyed two fabulous breakfasts and great suggestions on things to do. This is a great home base for the many things to do in this part of FL.

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and it definitely made us fans of this type of accommodations. The inn was charming and beautiful--full of charm and history. Stuart took care of all the small but important touches--as well as giving us a history of the inn. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We will definitely recommend to people staying in and around the Capital City and for people needing to get away from it all.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Tasteful decor and spotless room! Friendly and welcoming innkeepers. Was a bit startled by their pet cat (not allowed in the rooms though), and the weekday breakfast was just OK.

Wow!! It was fantastic, I travel every week and normally stay in a hotel; this was a wonderful change. The inn was beautiful and we felt like honored guests and family.

We wanted to go away for the weekend to relax. This place was the best choice. A very clean, quiet, charming, enjoyable place to stay. The staff was wonderfully friendly: kind, generous, and professional. The food was phenomenal! The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The best part to us was the sheer silence of the place. There was virtually no noise to bother us. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for us to relax. We will definitely sttay here again, and we would highly, highly recommend this place to everyone staying in this area. Overall, an extraordinary stay for an appropriately reasonable price. :)

The accomodations are quite lovely;very charming. The service likewise is outstanding. We highly recommend this wonderful experience.

The wicker room was decorated in blue and white colors which were very calming. Stuart met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. We had access to sherry and some great tasting biscotti. The history of the inn was quite interesting. We were served a delicious breakfast of blueberry stuffed french toast served on beautiful pink depression glass. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

Arrived late, around 8:30 pm on a business trip. I was greeted by a friendly face and given a quick and adequate history of the property. home away from home.

Great rooms, great service, and great food. I had a very relaxing stay. The owner had good recommendations for dinner and interesting stories about the area. I would love to go back!

Thoroughly enjoyed waking up every morning to homemade granola quiche and French toast. Very child friendly. Thanks, Mr. Stuart! :)

An FSU orientation trip allowed us to discover this wonderful inn. The history of the building is fascinating, the setting peaceful and private, the rooms--gorgeous! Every room's private baths (we were lucky to get a tour of several rooms) are large and beautifully appointed. We awoke to a delicious breakfast--homemade breads and muffins were especially good--and made the scenic drive to FSU in about 20 minutes. Just close enough, yet refreshingly removed from the city. We will definitely return, and will tell everyone about this charming B&B. Thanks, Stuart, for your warm hospitality!
