Lee House Bed and Breakfast Inn

We spent our wedding night at the Lee House and they housed the bride-to-be the night before. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway and a place for them to take care of the bride before the wedding. The food was AMAZING. Norma and Patrick are super friendly and will go above and beyond to help. If you are getting married downtown, seriously consider this place for your hotel stay. The owners are wonderful people. The rooms are very nice, centrally located, beautiful place.

My father and me travelled trough the South East together. By hazard we passed the Lee House the evening before we want there, when we came back from diner. Already back then, my father and I discussed the fantastic architecture. We thought that it was a nicely renovated ancient house. The next morning we were on the way to eat breakfast. We once more passed by and of course remembered the Lee House. We saw, that it was a Bed and Breakfast Inn and thought, let's see what it has to offer. We got onto the veranda and Mr Murray and Mrs Murray stepped out of the door. They saw us being interested about their Inn and showed us their lovely Lee House explaining us all about the history of Pensacola and their place. We were totally impressed how high end and modern the house was. They found the perfect mixture between old-fashioned southern architecture and state of the art decor! What an incredible atmosphere! The Murray's are hosts you've never had before. I promise! Mrs Murray is a gourmet cook. As a resume: Go there, stay there and you'll never regret it! Defining new standards of Bed and Breakfast! This was my third year staying at the Lee House Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the beds soooo comfy and Norma is such a great cook and hostess! I plan to return again next April or May! I highly recommend staying at the Lee House Bed and Breakfast whether your in Pensacola for work or play!

Norma was awesome! The room was exquisite and the view was outstanding. The town is very quaint and full of life. McGuire's Irish Pub was as close to perfect as you can get. Our stay was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back to stay.

I stayed with them for an extended period of time... I must say- the only way to describe my stay: outstanding!! Norma acted like a mother to me, made sure I was up had coffee and was ready for my day. She even provided me with a sport coat when needed (compliments of Pat of course). Pat and Norma really did a fantastic job with the Lee house. They offered suggestions for local events and restaurants. They treated me like part of the family. I will never forget my stay with them. It is my hope that I can visit them again in the future. Lastly, Norma makes breakfast herself and boy what a treat! Simply an amazing place!

Norma and Pat make every effort to ensure that your stay at Lee House is warm, comfortable and "homey"! No detail escapes their attention! We had a wonderful visit and look forward to returning as soon as we can! Our room was so comfortable and the view of the bay was so inviting. Our meals were delicious, and the addition of an opportunity to enjoy a meal by Blake Rushing was a highlight of our stay. We would recommend this B & B very highly!

We had a wonderful stay recently at the Lee House. Our room was very comfortable and cozy. The house is absolutely gorgeous-it really is an upscale B&B that is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious both mornings and we had a great time talking to Norma and the guests.

My travel companion and I thoroughly enjoyed Lee House and Norma, the innkeeper. Her attention to detail is 5 star, both in the construction of the house and the daily operations. Our chief (and only) complaint is that breakfast is served at 9 a.m. which was late for us because it was 10 a.m. before we could start our daily explorations. On the flip side, though, it gave us a chance to visit with the other guests and the innkeepers. There is keyless entry to the inn and to your suite so you never have to worry about a key. You'll love the euro bedding and thirsty towels. A nice surprise is that there is an elevator! We'll be back!

We completely enjoyed our 2 nights at the Lee House Bed and Breakfast Inn. Our stay was managed professionally from beginning to end. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The Inn was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and filling. Norma was friendly and hospitable, making us feel like we were at home. She has a great ability to be available to help (restaurant suggestions and making time to chat) and to provide extras (cookies, wine, breakfast at the time we chose) without hovering. We are already planning to return. It truly made our trip perfect!

We stayed in Suite 7 to celebrate our year anniversary. We used the Lee House for our Wedding Reception inside and out. The house is gorgeous and Norma is always so welcoming and a fantastic cook! We hope to make this a tradition.

The rooms were very nice. The inn was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The room opens onto a porch with seating. it was very relaxing. Ms. Norma was very nice. Breakfast was tasty every morning. I would definitely visit again.

The Lee House was more beautiful than the pictures give it credit, the decor was so soothing and yet so inviting, the rooms were large and comfortable, the bathroom much larger than any hotel and the food, oh the food was so wonderful, mouthwatering to say the least. Can not say enough about the stay, just wonderful.

My wife and I were looking for a quaint, weekend getaway in the Pensacola area and the Lee House was perfect. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the property itself is beautiful. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious. Would love to plan another getaway to this B & B!

I know it's a B&B, but I've never stayed in one before so I can only judge it against hotels I've visited. We didn't get to see much of Patrick since he was on call over the holiday weekend, but Norma is simply fabulous. Norma is extremely personable and had breakfast with us all daily. Breakfasts were superb and not too early morning for us later risers. We did pay for extra dinner that was cooked by Chef Blake, but we weren't as impressed with his cooking as I was with hers. She made this bread pudding for dessert that was out of this world. And I don't even like bread pudding! Beds were extremely comfortable and I definitely recommend this for anyone who'd like a romantic getaway with their spouse. The only slight pitfall to the vacation was a restaurant on the other side of the parkway has live music and since were there for the weekend we were able to hear the music very late into the night. I am certainly not faulting the Murrays for this since they have no control over the Fish House (restaurant) entertainment. I hope we get to go back soon!! If I could rate the service above outstanding I would - they were some of the nicest people we've ever met!

Lee House is beautifully constructed, the decor is lovely and it is very tastefully dressed. Add to that the fact that Norma and Pat are charming hosts, and will go to great lengths to ensure that your stay is everything you want it to be and you really cant go wrong. It is rare that one doesnt feel there was some small thing that could have been better but I really cannot think of anything! A must if you are in the area and worth a detour if not!

Lee House is perfectly situated in Pennsacola's historic district with a view of the Bay and within easy walking distance of the best restaurants and galleries. The building, constructed within the past few years, is wonderfully decorated with each room establishing a unique decorator identity. We did not spend time with Patrick but Norma was a genuinely great host. We'll be back.

Highly recommend the Lee House. Innkeepers are excellent hosts and offer a unique bed and breakfast environment. We always look forward to our stay with the Murrays and as an added benefit, enjoy catching up with each other. We go out of our way to drive to Pensacola to stay with Norma and Pat. They are truly wonderful people and their innkeeping style is representative of their personalities which can be summarized as personable and comfortable.

The Inn was so warm and inviting that we didn't want to leave. Norma and Patrick make you feel like you are part of their family. We will surely be visiting again.

I Found this B&B on this site, and was amazed at what I seen when I got there. It was the most beautiful place that I have ever been to. Not your ordinary B&B!!!! The modern design was excellent, unlike no other B&B I have ever been to. The bedding was comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the service was excellent. The location is priceless!! The location is downtown Pensacola right off the bay. You can sit and watch the sunset while you relax on the porch. Too many points to mention. The next time you are in Pensacola, check them out. This was our first stay at a B&B, and now the bar has been set very high. The owners are a perfect example of the term "southern hospitality." Our room was very comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding, and Norma & Pat are wonderful people. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this a 12. S & D

Great B&B with excellent location and service from the owners. We enjoyed the keyless enty pad on all doors to the facility and service from the owners. The rooms very spotless and top of the line ammenities.

Very comfortable inn within walking distance to the historic district. This place does not have a historic or charming feel but is a well designed inn with large, well equipped rooms in a very good location. The breakfasts are terrific and the hosts are very accommodating; whether with recommendations or to let you borrow the inn's bikes. We enjoyed our visit.

The Lee House has a rare combination of in bed&breakfasts: great location in the historic district of town, charming historic architecture on the outside, fully modern amenities on the inside, and a owner/host that knows exactly how an Inn should run. The rooms are superb, very quiet, beautiful balcony view, and fantastic shower design. The downstairs common areas is very large and extremely inviting. Dining opportunities are numerous within a short walk. Highly recommend a visit to both Pensacola and the Lee House.

This was our second stay at the Lee House. The house is beautiful. The balcony overlooks Pensacola Bay - the sunrise and sunset is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was amazing on both of our visits. Both Pat and Norma were so welcoming and friendly. My husband and I look forward to our next overnight at the Lee House!

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The entire property is beautiful from the lobby, to the kitchen,to the courtyard and the guest rooms. Do NOT miss the breakfast it was all made from scratch and delish! We will definitely visit again. Thanks Norma!

A recently constructed, beautifully furnished and outfitted, and exceptionally well-managed operation. In addition, Norma and Patrick are delightful hosts! My 3-night stay, as a result, could not have been more enjoyable.

I was in Pensacola for business. The Lee House was perfect. The price was reasonable. The location was perfect. The rooms were very nice, and the service was terrific. I highly recommend.

All was excellent. Unfortunatelly, a restaurant-bar in the neighborhood was very noisy till at least 2.00 am.

Norma and Pat are wonderful hosts. Every desire is met and they are so warm and welcoming. The Lee House is always outstanding. This was my third stay and I will be back again.

There aren't enough stars to reflect what a wonderful experience staying at The Lee House is. The Lee House was the setting of our daughter's wedding this October, 2010...and it was PERFECT. We rented out the entire house for two nights and the courtyard for the reception. The atmosphere was so relaxing and and inviting. It took us back to a time where people truly spent quality time together.....Norma took us in as her own and made sure that everything was just perfect! I have 3 more daughters to be married and would use The Lee House for them as well. I would just plan to stay longer. Visit The Lee House and experience her magic.

The outside of the bed and breakfast is so beautiful and welcoming. The back yard is large but cozy with the big couches and well kept garden. The inside, is just as beautiful with the comfy couches, beautifully decorated and a view of the bay. I immediately felt comfortable and welcome. My room was...lets just say, that I forgot that I was there on business and was ready to curl up with a good book on my balcony. I unpacked and than had to leave to pick someone up at the airport and as I was heading out, Norma had just made chocolate chip cookies. I love kitchens and this is a kitchen to die for. Beautifully decorated with a red counter top, spacious and inviting. The next morning, breakfast was ready at the time I requested. I was served with a smile, coffee, orange juice, fruit, yogurt and morning paper to start. Then Norma brought out a beautful plate with homemade orange muffins, bacon and an egg cheese and ham casserole. Everything was homemade, fresh and hot. I sat at a cozy table overlooking the bay. I enjoyed my stay immensely. I would definitely return whether for business or pleasure and of course highly recommend Lee House. Lee House is not just beautiful and welcoming but also has a great history. Go and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

I had the most amazing experience at the Lee House this past August. After months of watching the Gulf oil spill coverage, my fiance and I decided to change the location of our wedding reception. I choose the Lee House from pictures I saw on their website. A month before our wedding we visited the site in person and we were completely blown away. Immediately after entering the Inn you are hit with the warmth and coziness that Norma and Pat worked so hard to create. The furniture is comfortable and classy. Small details can be noticed in every room. The hardest decision was choosing which guests received the privilege of staying in each room. My grandmother was in a wheelchair and the handicap accessible room was comfortable and safe. It really put my mind at ease knowing that her suite handled her special needs while still looking beautiful. The bridal suite decorated in cool blues and white gave off the relaxing vibe of a high end spa. Every detail was thought of, from the robes, to the plentiful towels, right down to the facial clothes left to remove all the bridal make-up. Unfortunately for us it managed to rain for 4 days straight, right through our wedding day. Norma orchestrated the massive move of furniture to accommodate the ceremony inside the Inn. We had a beautiful altar in front of the fireplace and the large leather couches were arranged to create an aisle. The space was so large it easily served as altar, dance floor, and stage. The next morning Norma had brunch waiting for all the guests. Norma's famous bread pudding was included in the menu. YUMMY. Guests left the Inn that morning pleasantly filled with many of Norma's famous dishes. I loved my wedding. Thanks for everything! I am looking forward to spending my future anniversaries in the same bridal suite!

My husband found Lee's while searching for places to stay in Pensacola. We were only staying one night while in route home from Seaside. Because our stay was more of a "pit stop" we weren't expecting too much from our stay but we were pleasantly surprised by not only the b and b but the area as well. Lee's is a beautiful home in the historic area and the website does not do it justice. The room was beautiful and professionally designed with an amazing bathroom. Everything from the towels to bedding to bathroom fixtures was top notch. It is by far the best b and b we have ever stayed in. Perhaps the best part though were the owners. We were traveling with our 11 month old and were VERY accommodating. They were very nice and did everything they could to make sure our stay was pleasant. They provided a pack n play, toys and even offered to set up the sprinkler for our son to play in. This is not your typical b and b cluttered with antiques- it is a beautiful, new, modern home with owners who went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. If we ever our in the area again, there is no doubt we will be back. Thank you Pat and Norma for your hospitality!

We stayed at the Lee House the weekend of Nov. 20 for a wedding. The room was spacious and well appointed as were the common areas. Norma and Pat were friendly and very gracious hosts. They were attentative to details and the needs of all the guests who ranged in age from 8 to 92. The dining was first class, well presented and ample. We felt like we were at home and were part of the Lee House family.

Lee House is a Beautiful B & B ! The interior decorators did a gorgeous job, as each suite has its own unique design. We stayed in suite 4 and it was so comfy. My husband has M.D. and the ADA features were perfect. The proprietors, Norma and Pat Murry are so accommodating, Norma cooked up a delicious breakfast and Pat discussed the B&B'S architectural design, that boast using "Green" technology. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to our next visit.

Lee House is truly a home-away-from-home. Lee House is a modern delight to the eyes - a new building (with the comfortable accomodations we come to expect when paying a premium room rate)built to blend into the historic Pensacola area. The security Lee House affords the guest is outstanding - with the code I chose to access the system for the front door and our room. It was nice to not have to keep up with a key. Norma and Patrick Murray are rare B&B owners. As a hostess, she enjoys spending time with her guests and accomodating their needs. For us, it was beach towels and chairs as well as breakfast at 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Our son asked permission to play the 1859 Steinway in the Gathering Room. Thereafter, Norma frequently requested his piano skills on her rare piano. Her breakfasts were outstanding with a variety of delicious and nutritious delicacies. Daily, there was a freshly baked treat available in the kitchen. As a frequenter of B&Bs, I have never been invited into the kitchen. Norma is the first to design her kitchen to accomodate her guests in the "inner sanctum" around her red half-moon islands. Lee House has been open less than a year. I fear that, next year, it will be difficult to get a room as word spreads of this excellent and inviting home-away-from-home. Worth every penny! Delightful in every way!

Awesome! The Lee House has just opened. Pat and Norma Murray are wonderful host and hostess. Because Norma also runs a number of area lunch restaurants, I was told the food would be fantastic...and it was! Norma is Pensacola's Martha Stewart. The architectual features, the family momentos and the archeological artifacts found as the property was being built adorn the gathering room...it took days to see and appreciate them all. My room was beautiful, designed by an area artist, as all the suites were. The stone and ceremic work in the bathroom was breathtaking. The view from the front porch overlooks the bay, getting the sun for most of the day. Thanks so much for a wonderful, relaxing stay.
