This B & B is definitely way above average. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The owners are friendly and helpful. We will definitely return but next time we will rent one of the cottages just so we can experience the full spectrum.

Stayed two nights in early September in a cottage on property - The Railroad Cottage. We chose Alling House as the cottages are pet friendly , and we had a wonderful experience. Cottages are in a beautiful setting behind main house. Fully equipped kitchen and fridge even stocked with breakfast items in case guest elects to sleep in and skip breakfast in main house. We did one of each - breakfast in main house was fantastic ! Would highly recommend as alternative to nearby hotels !!

We stayed in the Gold Room and it was lovely! The room was clean, comfortable, unique, and quiet. We were only able to stay for one night, but our whole stay was great! Breakfast was fantastic, the company great, and the after breakfast service was above and beyond. We would recommend the Alling House to anyone!!

Charming, beautifully restored 1908 homenand cottages. We truly enjoyed our stay at Gerald and Nan's, and will certainly return. The Alling House is a relaxing and inviting location that is very near Blue Springs State Park.

Mr and Mrs Hill were so nice and helpful and welcoming. Their home is beautifully decorated and our room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We had a private bathroom - a definite plus in a B&B! Mrs. Hill's breakfast was delicious and our stay really could not have been better! We are looking forward to staying there again.

This is not the place to stay if you are going to Disney or want to be on the beach. However, it was perfect for visiting family in Deland! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. There are great restaurants in old downtown Deland.

Gerald and Nan are gracious and accommodating hosts, and have created an oasis in Orange City. Really enjoyed my stay in the Rose and Green Rooms. Nan's breakfast is delicious! And the new kitten, Molly, is a sweetiepie. All great reasons I'm looking forward to a return trip!

We really enjoyed our stay the room had every little thing you could need. Down to the toothbrush! We also liked the landscaping of the property! Was a beautiful lot. The springs were in driving range and good dining a short drive away!

We LOVED our one night stay at the Alling House. We've stayed in hundreds of places across the country and this one exceptionally pleased us. Each cottage is decorated uniquely just like the pictures show. Even outside was very pleasant with a quiet garden like feel. The service was wonderful; Gerald and Nan were very hospitable. Only reason I can't say the food was exceptional was because we didn't experience the breakfast but rather we simply ate the cereal, milk, and juice provided in the room--which was a blessing to have right there already in the fridge so that we didn't have to get anything at the store. All together we enjoyed our stay. Wish we could've stayed longer and if we come that way again, we would definitely stay there again.
