Night Swan Intracoastal Bed & Breakfast

We took a weekend getaway and thankfully the innkeepers were so kind to check us in at 9pm, plus get the tour, helped ourselves to some wonderful coffee, and looked over a salon table with "things to do." Staff are super friendly with great area advice. There are three different houses on this property looking over the intracoastal and causeway bridge. Each house has an open kitchen with a fridge stocked with water, sodas, and ice cream! Plus you get cookies in your room upon check-in. The "main house" is where you check-in and has a nice large wrap-around porch and a large salon with a piano, fireplace, books and DVDs. The main house's open kitchen has coffee 24/7, plus all the fridge stuff, ice cream etc. Our room (Egret's view) had a comfy comfy king bed, one TV in the bed area, and a little sitting room with a sofa, TV and DVD player. Our bathroom was huge, seriously, and had a jacuzzi/tub. The breakfast (schedule yourself up to 9:30am) is a tasty treat, after a great night's sleep, and they have their recipes online! Then 10am to 8pm, the inn is open to the public for espresso, lattes, etc and sweets like cakes and pastries. There are lawn chairs, that awesome porch, plus a great dock across the street. The dock is unique - it has two stories, eating benches and tables on the bottom and chairs up top. Early November is beautiful here with perfect temp in the 70s! It's a perfect location because it is walking distance to either causeway (but you'll probably drive) and end up on the "beachside". Lots of restaurants, shops, and businesses to rent bikes or take lessons on surfing, kayaking, etc. Overall, this was a great stay and we'd like to come back with family!

This place was absolutely amazing. It was in a really good location, the staff is friendly, they have some pet friendly cottages and their breakfast was delicious. My husband and I (and the dogs) only went for a one night get away and are already planning on returning soon. I can't wait :) If you go here I promise you that you won't regret it!

We loved the quiet location, the cozy room and sitting area, the porch with a hammock, the dolphins playing real close to the docks. Bedroom is neat, clean and very cozy. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess warm and sweet. Thank you for making our week-end so special and relaxing!

We live just an hour away from New Smyrna and were due for a much needed break from reality. My husband surprised me with a two night stay at the Night Swan B & B. With our hectic schedules, we arrived late Tuesday evening. We were greeted with a smile and shown around the main house and to the Manatee Sighting Suite where we stayed. It was very clean and inviting with a separate sitting room overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway (where we saw several schools of dolphins the next day). Delicious homemade cookies were waiting for us by the bedside. We were able to relax in the large Jacuzzi tub and had a peaceful night’s sleep. We saw a most beautiful sunrise, had a scrumptious breakfast (fresh fruit, homemade waffles, fresh orange juice and coffee), did some shopping in the two quaint downtown areas, drove on the pristine beach and dipped our toes in the surprisingly warm ocean water. Since it was off season (August 30 to 31) and a weekday, the beach was quiet and relaxing and not at all crowded. The weather was perfect. The Night Swan recommended we have lunch at The Breakers which is known for their fabulous burgers (the best I’ve ever eaten). It was a very restful stay and the staff was attentive to our needs. We would recommend the Night Swan and would definitely stay there again.

We arrived Saturday evening and were given the Captain's Room on the 3rd Floor. Heather showed us all around and she was extremely pleasant and professional. We went out to dinner and came back to a very comfortable room. Our room was very nice with 2 Queen size beds. The house was very quiet. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. We enjoyed talking to other people staying there over breakfast. We would have loved to sit on the veranda but it was very warm for us. We had a lovely stay!!

So I happy we chose this b&b. Not too many to choose from in the NSB/Dayton Beach area. Excellent breakfast, beautiful room, free ice cream and cones, whirlpool tub, and very, very nice staff and owners. We went paddle boarding along the river and saw dolphins and osprey. I would highly recommend this as the perfect romantic getaway :)

This is a fairly quiet joint near the beach that allows one to head to the beach all day long, come back and crash and get up and do it all over again the next morning (after a pitch perfect breakfast, that is). It took my staying here, my first ever bed and breakfast establishment, to wonder why I hadn't done this sort of thing before. Homemade banana french toast (yeah, they even made their own bread!) on the porch in the morning, looking out at the pier and sun rising, well, that was the proverbial icing on the cake, so to speak. They couldn't have been friendlier, either. I don't say this about a lot of places, but I do believe I'll go back. I was only there overnight thanks to a Groupon but, with that kind of charm and service, I could've stuck around a week, easy.

Our daughter got us a nights stay at this lovely B&B for our anniversary. It was relaxing, deliciousness and the staff was warm and wonderful! Don't miss this place!

We did not know what to expect as we had never stayed in the area. What a delight t find some f the best area views and the exceptionally friendly staff. The breakfast was outstanding. We will surely return!

We stayed here when we came up to view a shuttle launch. It is definitely quieter than staying closer to the beach, which is just minutes away. The owner and staff are low-key but helpful, and do a great job in making you feel comfortable. We stayed in the Regatta Room on the second floor, which we found a bit cramped for 2 people. The other rooms seemed much more roomy. We loved having the long dock just across from the house. We would definitely recommend the Night Swan to our friends.

5 star breakfasts, close to beaches, and Canaveral Seashore Park.

This March my wife and I stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time, my three small dogs felt right ay home and so did we.The grounds are a great place to relax. Te staff are riendly and proficant they do thier jobs werll. A special thanks to Heather who makes a great double expresso.

My fiancee' and I were very impressed with this b&b. The staff were friendly and the cottage was conveniently located. Would recommend to any visitor to new smyrna.

A lovely, quaint B & B in such a peaceful setting and yet close enough to walk to most entertainment anyone would desire. We watched the Discovery space shuttle take off on the private pier, strolled on the lovely river walk, enjoyed a downtown arts and craft festival, and there is easy beach access to miles of walking, swimming and surfing. Local restaurants have fresh seafood from riverfront to oceanfront dining. And best of all, New Smyrna Beach is still a well kept secret from the Disney crowds!

Thank you to all at the Night Swan for another great stay! Last week was the 4th time I have had the pleasure to visit. I love the comfortable & casual ambiance of this charming B&B . The rooms, the grounds and the location are relaxing , clean and well maintained. Always a gracious welcome, great to see Martha and Carol again and enjoyed meeting Heather and Mary : ))

Spent one night on our trip to florida coast. we were upgraded to a nicer room with water view, unsolicited and with no extra cost.Hospitality was great with many nice amenities. would surely stay here again and recommend it to others with no reservations.

Don't let the "met my expectations" rating fool you. We stay in a LOT of B&B's and have high expections of the ones we visit and The Night Swan did, indeed, meet our expectations. The location is lovely and the home is warm and inviting and made more so by the beautful Christmas tree and fireplace. Our room was comfortable with a delightfully firm mattress and our host was gracious. Breakfast was simple (if you call an Artichoke and ham turkey Strata simple) and DELICIOUS! We will return to this area to explore it more completely and you can BET that we'll stay at the Night Swan again!! I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good B&B experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Night Swan. It is also pet friendly, so that's a huge PLUS! We stayed in the 2bdrm cottage in the back which was very private and nice. After breakfast each morning we would return to our cottage to discover it had been cleaned and beds freshly made. That was very nice. The chef specializes in low-something diet, and we would have much preferred a traditional egg/bacon breakfast. That being said, the breakfast was very tasty! We had no complaints. She does a good job of making the food taste good. The owner, Martha, did an outstanding job of making sure we were well taken care of. At night we would walk across the street to the private dock and watch the boats go by as we drank our glass of wine. Sometimes we'd sit on the front porch. Martha provides ice cream in the freezer, so grabbing an ice cream cone and going for a late-night walk was always on our agenda. This place is very peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend staying here.

Just a short Getaway from it all that was just perfect. A period style home that has kept all of its charm down to the those that greet you!

We just recently stayed at the Night Swan for our wedding and had the most amazing time there! The staff was remarkable and really exceeded our expectations with going above and beyond to help plan the logistics of our wedding, from planning our meal to coordinating arrangements with the captain of our sailboat we were married on! The food was excellent and the facilities were well kept! It was the perfect place to start our new life together! We were only there over night, but the experience was fabulous. We could easily stay there for weeks. It was like having our own little condo.

What a relaxing facility, the staff was great, the breakfast was wonderful, and the View was spectacular!! Loved it!!

We LOVED this little treasure! AND we had unlimited ice cream in the freezer. Perfect place to stay and make little day trips to the beach, Orlando and the Space Center. Great people and wonderful breakfasts.

I stayed for 4 weeks while attending horseshoeing school.It was like my home away from home. I was made to feel welcomed and comfortable. I will return one day to actually vacation.

We were pleased with our visit and enjoyed a quick overnight trip. A park was within walking distance for our toddler, which was perfect, and they had complementary ice cream on hand, which our kid thought was great.

Martha and staff out do themselves..friendly, accommodating. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques and added special ammenities. The food was exceptional.. I loveed the front porch..great for morning coffee or a nice relaxing evening with a glass of wine. If you are going to the beach, do not miss the opportunity to stay at this gem.

New Smyrna Beach is a hidden gem and the Night Swan Inn even moreso. Great location on the Intracoastal Waterway - we watched dolphins that came within 50 feet of shore!! The service was great and the home cooked breakfast outstanding! We would come back in a heartbeat!

My wife and I were pleasantly suprised when we drove up to the night swan B&B. It is a wonderfully quaint B&B, that is expertly managed by Martha and Chuck. Fron the king sized bed to the wonderful breakfasts, it is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We sat on the dock sipping wine for hours watching the boats and the dolphins play. We highly recommend the Night Swan.

My wife and I recently spend a relaxing several days at the Night Swan Intracoastal B&B. Our primary intention for the trip was to view a space shuttle launch and were looking for a comfortable place to spend the remainder of our time. The Night Swan certainly exceeded our expectations. Our past experience with Florida visits has been in large hotels, surrounded by traffic and concrete. The Night Swan is in a quiet residential neighborhood but still with easy access to highways and tourist destinations. The rooms are bright and well-appointed. The Canaveral National Seashore is 15 minutes away and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is not much farther. As an added bonus, the inn keepers are very knowledgeable about the shuttle program and we were able to view the launch from the dock in front of the inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return whenever we travel to the area.

We recently spent four nights at the Night Swan and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms were large and comfortable, the accessibility to the guest kitchen was very convenient, all breakfasts prepared by the fantastic chef were delicious and healthy and the proximity to the gorgeous ocean was great. We will definitely return to the Night Swan!

My wife's birthday was celebrated with real "class". It was the best therapy for both she and me when we both needed it the most. We would love to do it again but for a longer stay to be able to enjoy the nightlife and the various restaurants in the area.

The experience at the Night Swan B&B was truly outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. Staying in the Dolphin Domain gave us our own entrance and a light-filled sun porch with unobstructed views of the Intercoastal Waterway. We could watch the sunrise, the sailboats and dophins playing in the water. I grew up in the area, but had never been in a period Florida house before. What a treat! The floors were pine and cypress--gorgeous. The wood work was amazing. Yet the up-dates to the bath, the cental a/c, ceiling fans, microwave and frig, TV and DVD player etc. provided modern conveniences. The grounds are pure Florida--with everything from ferns to live oaks with Spanish moss. It is an extensive complex and extremely well- maintained. The expansive front porch of the main house has rockers and a swing. There are plenty of places on the grounds to sit and enjoy the views while still maintaining a sense of privacy. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The rooms were cleaned while we were at breakfast so that we never had to experience "room service." Everyone at the Night Swan was extremely friendly and helpful. I cannot understand why this B&B hasn't received all 5's. I am picky, but I cannot find anything to "pick at." I would go back again and again--and will. Lynda Fogle Weatogue, CT

We had a Great time, very nice place on the river. Up in the morning, walked out on the doc with a cup of coffee and watched the dolfins swim around before breakfast. It don't get better than that. We're bringing other couples with us next time. All the people were great, very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a very nice stay.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay. It was our first time at a B&B and were a little concerned but it definitely exceeded our expectations. The staff and food was excellent. We will be back.

This was my fourth stay at the Night Swan and as always, was super To be able to stay at a B&B that is so homey, warm and comfortable is such a treat. Better than staying in a hotel anytime. I've told other family members about the Night Swan and they have not been disapointed either. Martha and Chuck, as well as the other staff members make every effort so that their guests feel like guests at their home and not some sterile hotel.

We absolutely enjoyed the tanquility and hospitality of our stay at the Night Swan!

6/12/09 Spent the night at the Night Swan for our 38th anniversary in the Turnbull Suite. The friendly hostess acccompanied us to our room, gave us a quick tour of the common area kitchenette & instructions on the use of the tub jets. She was helpful with suggestions to eat lunch & directions to obtain tickets for the sunset cruise. Our room was spacious, well maintain & appreciated the private entrance via our French doors. Breakfast was 7-9am. You select the time you wanted to eat & had the option later of changing the time yourself on the signup sheet. We chose to eat with the other guests rather than have breakfast served on our balcony. We have been to several B&B's up north & rate this one as one of the better ones we have visited. The location, the river views & relaxing atmosphere made this trip a memorable one for us. The Thomases from Homosassa Fl.
