Margerie was so kind to my girls and I when we had our girls day out. We had a reasonable rate, the rooms had all original art, and decorated beautiful. The breakfast was scrumptious, and everything was terrific. I will definitely come back here again!

My husband rented the entire home for my 50th birthday party and what a wonderful time we had! Randy and Margie, Innkeepers, are so personable and helpful. They really know what they're doing from start to finish. Their décor has been collected for years and years and every piece has a story. The food is fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend with the family in this beautiful home and will definitely go again. You should too!!!

We had a great time at Heron Cay! The house was amazing and our room had wonderful views from three sides of a lake and a beatiful garden. We couldn't get the chance to try the dinner but breakfast was delicious. We thank Heron Cay for a beutiful time! ASA

We did not realize that my birthday coincided with the February art show in Mount Dora so we were glad to find there was 1 room left. Margie and Randy actually gave up there room so we could stay there. That in and of itself was a gift, but oh the beautiful china you get to use for your morning feast. We had such a great time talking with the owners and their pets are the best kind of ambassadors . They were gentle and quiet but smiled to see you there. The breakfast was one of the most inclusive spreads we have seen, sweet and savory offerings of fruit, a bread ring , breakfast casseroles and omelets that would even impress Paula Dean. We can't wait to return.

What a place - can not say enough about it - except that we just left and have made reservations for or second stay. The rooms, the food and the host and hostess were "A one" the whole way. Margie & Randy always have a smile on their faces. I can not say enough about the breakfasts (and Randy"s cooking). One night they made a great steak diner for my husband, myself and another couple staying at the inn. A most enjoyable evening. Roberta G

The rooms and ambiance of the place is spectacular, the food was delicious and the area is a wonderful place to visit. There's so much more I want to say but the only thing I can think of is "you just have to visit this place!"

We stayed here two nights...took a side trip to Orlando (close by) for a dinner show, the other night, we took the Orange Blossom Dinner train in Eustis...excellent! The inn is great...we got to tour the other non-rented rooms and will pick another room there to stay in the next visit. The breakfast was fabulous...fresh fruit, platters of eggs, sausage patties, bacon, nice assortment of breads. The only downside is that we missed the Inn's entrance ...it is a very small sign on a two lane road along the lake and once we backtracked, we found it. It was too cold to try the outdoor pool but it looked inviting.
