The Ann Stevens House
The Ann Stevens House, an 1890's country Victorian Main House and a 1990's Carriage House, was described by a journalist as "the best country Inn in Florida". Guests gather in "Sherlock's", an English-style Pub, in the Parlor, or on one of the many porches. At the end of the day, it is wonderful to relax in the Victorian Gazebo located in the Courtyard. Three fireplaces welcome folks on chilly evenings, along with hot buttered rum or hot chocolate. Guestrooms are large and well appointed, some with a Jacuzzi, and most have a private, screened porch, which is entered through French doors off the bedroom. The cookie jar is never empty and full country breakfasts are served under a sign, which says it all: Sit Long, Talk Much, Laugh Often.
