I loved this quaint little place, Derek and his dog greeted me with a glass of wine and was given a quaint clean room in the back with a french door and my own little patio setting outside. I had the opportunity to meet other guests at breakfast, but otherwise it’s quiet and sheets smelled really clean. They adhere to green lodging practices. And in that note…It was nice to park my car for the rest of my stay and if you need to get around they rent bicycles, because it is the best way to get around town. Derek was also very helpful with guiding me with my sightseeing, coupons & brochures, places to eat, and directions. Key West was a great place to visit and this was part of making my visit a good experience.

The photos don't do it justice!

We stayed three nights at the Grand in March. We had a great time. Derek was so kind and welcoming and gave us such good suggestions of what to see and where to eat. The rooms were clean and neat however small. The breakfasts were very good and eating out with other guests in the morning was a real pleasure. We felt we had the real Key West experience at the Grand rather than staying at a big hotel. We would stay again.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand in Dec. for a week. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are two good resturaunts within easy walking distance. The Grand itself is beautiful and clean with lots of tropical plants. Derek is the best. He was always in a great mood and very eager to help with anything that came up. He saved us lots of time and aggrivation. The room itself was clean and pretty, with good water pressure in the toilet and shower. The breakfast buffet is huge and a great way to meet your fellow travelers. They even have a dog and cat on property to play with so we didnt miss ours so much. All in all, a wonderful place. I highly recommend it.
