Stayed for 5 nights at la Pensione and enjoyed it very much. We stayed in room 8, which has access to the second floor porch which was very nice! The Inn is about 3 blocks from Duval and 5 blocks to the Marina which was not an issue for us. La Pension is right on Truman which has a fair amount of traffic, so it can be noisy at times. It didn't bother us since we like the sounds of the city. Overall a very nice stay.

My stay at La Pensione was a good one. Great location for walking everywhere. The room was very clean and spacious, the pool sparkling, and the common areas comfy, clean and inviting. Breakfast was healthy and ample. Main drawback - our room was in the front and at times noisy ( highway ONE). Helpful, friendly, Staff made it all worthwhile and very pleasant! Didn't miss TELEVISION at all but could have used a fridge and a microwave.

I did a great deal of research after having La Pensione' suggested to me. For the money, it was equal to or better than many other properties. As you would expect, the staff had good recommendations for eateries, of which there are many. We used the on site bikes to travel everywhere. Our flight out wasn't until late in the afternoon, but we used the bikes for a final lunch jaunt and were able to shower after checking out earlier. The only negative is that the B & B fronts Truman (US 1) so it is noisy in room 9. However, that should not keep you from experiencing the exceptional hospitality of La Pensione'.

We had very pleasant stay in La Pensione Inn B&B. Staf was friendly and competent. Its location is close to the downtown and parking is available on its premises, which is a great advantage. There are no TV sets in rooms, which is rather surprising. There is no dining in this B&B, hence the above rating for dining should be ignored. We can recommend it.

We had a great time here--only one problem. They had the hardest pillows I have ever slept on in my life---very uncomfortable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not sleep well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ---change the pillows. Other than that everything and everyone were great.
