Great location in the middle of all the action on Duval Street. Once through the portal you enter a quiet, secluded world of relaxation complete with secluded sitting areas, pool and morning breakfast. The only drawback is that the mattress in our room (#30) needed replacement.

The price we paid was for our location, and it was worth it. But with all of the money Duval House brings in with such a prime location, they can afford to update the rooms a bit. We didn't mind that our room was small, but the bathroom needed to be updated, the mattress was similar to what I had in my college dorm room, and the curtains needed to be replaced.

The courtyard and pool area was very relaxing.

My husband and I got married here last year with 16 friends attending. We returned this year for our anniversary and our stay was just as enjoyable (and less hectic). As soon as we arrived, we received 25% off for being a return guest and as got a big "Happy Anniversy" welcome at the front desk. The only issue we had was that the pool chemicals were too strong and faded my suit, making me nervous about being in the water, but the manager was very apologetic and promised reimbursement for my suit....a very nice gesture for sure. We really enjoyed our duplex room and the people watching from both porches. The continental breakfast is also one of our favorites! We park our car and it isn't needed at all, the Duval House is the perfect location to walk in any direction.

We stayed in a Cabana room. Wonderful location and although right on Duval, we were in back and street noise wasn't an issue. Loved relaxing in the garden. The room could use some updating but it was clean and comfortable.

We only stayed one night. However, that was long enough to get a feel for the place. The grounds are very relaxing and provide a welcoming atmosphere. The room was clean and well appointed. Water pressure could use a boost, but that's Key West. All in all, it was a great experience.

Stayed here for three nights in February. The location is excellent and we walked everywhere without problems. The Duval house is very charming and the gardens are great and the pool was heated. They serve a good breakfast with a nice area to enjoy it outdoors. Our room was at the front of the house so,it was noisy during the weekend, but not so much that we couldn't handle it. That is to be expected when staying so close to,the action. Service was fine, though we did have to ask for clean towels and to empty trash during out stay. Would recommend staying here, but stay in a room away from the street, but then again those rooms are more pricey.

Its a great place to stay, People were very friendly and nice. The room was small but adequate. Since I spent very little time in the room I didn't care. The staff was great and very willing to do whatever it took to make you happy. The grounds were beautiful, clean and quite. I very much enjoyed that, The morning continental breakfast was better than I thought it would be. Location is very close to all the shops, restaurants, and night life. For the price I do not think you could beat it. I highly recommend the Duval House.

We were staying in southwest Florida and made a last minute booking to the Keys the Duval house had openings. They did not disappoint. This is our 6th trip to Key West and the staff at the Duval House is by far the most helpful of any of the other properties we have stayed. The room was beautiful and very clean. The property was well maintained. We used the pool which was very relaxing. At check out the woman who checked us out wanted to know about our stay, what we liked and what we did not like so the could continue the service to future guests. Also even though we we're checked out we were not leaving until later that day. We were welcomed to use the facilities on the property as we wished. They even have a bathroom with a shower so we could freshen up before our departure. We looking forward to our next trip back and will defiantly be staying at The Duval House.
