In the middle of everything duval has to offer with a quiet garden that makes you feel like you are for away from the bars.

The room smelled like a urinal - no kidding. The sub-flooring was uneven and in front of the sink it dipped, felt as though you might fall through. The pictures on the web were deceiving - photo shopped maybe?. We will not be returning to the Duval House. Our recommendation is to spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

My husband and I checked in Sept 25 2015 and were delighted with our room. We reserved and Cabana which is tiny but comfortable for the little time we spent in our room. It was very clean, which is remarkable because I am incredibly picky so I really apprciated that. Our room was directly next to the office right on Duval with a front porch and rocking chairs for seating. My only sugestion is they get better mattresses as mine were really too soft and very uncomfortable. The TV was too small and the shower was miniature but like I said, it was still a nice experience. The outdoor swimming pool was refreshing, the property is spectacular and really adheres to thet 'key west' atmosphere. The continental breakfast was very good, honestly delicious. The staff was polite but never went above and beyond or anything, just nice and charasmatic. The best thing was thelocation, we were pretty much in the epicenter but far away enough to get a decent night sleep. All in all, for my first Bed & Breakfast experience and not really having any expectations, I was satisfied.

I stayed at the Duval House on July 24-27th. The location is great. The room was clean. I found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable. Overall, our stay was fine. I would recommend the Duval House and I would stay there again.

Duval House was an excellent find and exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is perfect (just close enough to all of the action without being disruptive), the service was outstanding, and the rate was affordable. I would absolutely stay here again!
