Our stay at the Duval House was great! The location is perfect. We walked most places. It was nice to sit on the porch and relax while watching the activity on Duval Street. Breakfast in the courtyard was a wonderful way to start the day. Room was a little small but no longer than we were in it, it was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful from the front office to the maintenance workers. My next visit to Key West will include the Duval House.

My husband and I love staying at the Duval House. We usually stay in a king suite for the two of us, but we most recently stayed with a large group in the Duplex and another suite. The bathroom in the Duplex is MINIATURE, pretty disappointed in that. That's the only reason for the 4/5 on "Rooms"... Our Duplex had a HUGE balcony, and the rooms were average in size, large enough for our group. It also had a neat little living area downstairs... The housekeeper also did not vacuum any of the three nights we were there. We cleaned up as much as we could after ourselves, and the room was sometimes not clean upon return from our days' excursions... She specifically asked if she should vacuum, we said yes, and came back to a room that was not vacuumed (hence the 4/5). The breakfast at the place is average, fresh fruits, a waffle station, cereal, bagels (& such) and yogurt. Nothing outstanding. No other food offered on site, which is fine, since there are so many restaurants nearby. There's a great french bakery across the street that we opted for our breakfasts. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The private pool area is also a nice break from the Key West crowds. This is the best value in Key West. It's in the perfect location--walking distance from everything important. We love this hotel & refuse to stay anywhere else in Key West!

Very nice and clean room, the property is super charming and well kept, located right in Duval and so easy to stroll everywhere, will stay again, but perhaps not during the high (price) season

Cozy and quiet rooms and gardens -- like an oasis! We enjoyed easy walks from 0-Mile to Mallory Square, then sat in their front porch Rocking Chairs to enjoy the sunset and evening people watching. Duval House will forever be our first choice in Key West!

Our weekend get-away at the Duval House was wonderful! We enjoyed the beauty around the cozy courtyard and pool! The location to all the fun and excitement outside of the B&B was extremely convenient! But once you returned to the Duval House, the peace and quiet was very relaxing! All the staff was helpful and attentive to all our needs! Thank you, Duval House, for making our Key West trip memorable!

Great location and good breakfast. Central location allows for walking to most areas of Key West. Courtyard area is very charming and breakfast was what we expected. Rooms are extremely small and walls beyond thin. Attention to detail and coziness was lacking. Our bathroom had three light bulbs as a light, two of which were working. Wall plates were falling off the wall at outlets and shower was very makeshift. There was no closet and front door hinge was loose. My husband had to screw it back into place. When we arrived, we were asked to wait outside on the porch for 30 minutes because there was a meeting going on in the office. Only after I stood outside the office door in vision of the staff did someone take my identification and credit card, go into the office, not welcome me into the office with them, and check us in. We were expecting a cozy and comfortable B&B and what we got was a home converted into as many makeshift rooms as possible. Over priced for sure. Unfortunate because the house has great potential and the location is wonderful. Consider other options before booking here.
