In Jacksonville at the turn of the century, 50 mansions lined Riverside Avenue in an area known as "The Row". Today, only two of these fabled homes remain. The Riverdale Inn is one of them. For those that desire a nightcap, the "Gum Bunch Pub" is available for beverages. With all the available amenities of the Riverdale Inn, your stay will be a memorable experience

We recently spent a couple of days at the Riverdale Inn. The staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast each morning was wonderful (cook to order in just minutes)! The location was outstanding! Just a block away from the Inn is Memorial Park, which offered us a great view on the St. John's River, and right off Margaret Street were wonderful high quality restaurants, including one with a roof top view. I would highly recommend this B&B.

We returned to Riverdale Inn this year because we had such a lovely experience last year when we came through Jacksonville. Once again we stayed in the quaint detached carriage house. Very nice! We love Riverdale because the staff is so friendly, the house is gorgeous, and it is within walking distance to excellent restaurants and bars. We've already made our reservations for next year!

Great location with friendly owners and a great breakfast. Our room in carriage house was OK but would have liked main house. My fault as you get what you pay for.

If I ever get to Jacksonville again I will stay at the Riverdale Inn. It was like a home away from home except we were treated like royalty. I spent quite a bit of time on the second floor balcony enjoying the fresh air and people watching.

I have always been a little hesitant about staying at a bed and breakfast, but that certainly changed with our experience at Riverdale Inn. We have been married for 35 years and the weekend we stayed was the anniversary of our first date (37 years ago). We stayed in the Park Suite, which was beautiful. The whole inn was beautiful. Everyone was very gracious and accommodating from the time we entered the inn-until we left. The breakfast was great (you can choose from their menu) and the staff was so friendly (we really liked the wonderful lady who would clean our room everyday-so kind and friendly). Riverdale Inn is in a great location, with restaurants and shopping right around the corner. This was a wonderful first time experience for a bed and breakfast and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Everyone at Riverdale was so warm and friendly that we felt like family. The Inn was very clean and very comfortable. The cooked to order breakfast was delicious. We loved being able walk everywhere. Bob and Eric offered us great dining and exploring recommendations. We will definitely return to the Riverdale Inn.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this BnB. It's located right near 5 points and the Riverwalk, 5 minutes from downtown and within minutes from everything from grocery stores to an art theater to bars. The staff were friendly and did everything right, and the breakfast was really nice. I'd definitely stay again.
