Beautiful historic home very tastefully decorated with antique furniture yet very comfortable. Located walking distance to Museum, dining and shopping. Would definitely go back.

Delightful stay at a beautiful B&B in the quaint Riverside district.

Sadly due to our schedules we could only stay 1 night at the Riverdale Inn. The rooms were beautiful and unique. It is conveniently located near dinning and parks. The breakfast in the morning was made to order delicious and the staff delightful. We would highly recommend if staying in the Jacksonville area.

Lovely B&B

3.2 on February 24, 2016

My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip just to get away. Since we prefer a B&B, I searched for one in Jacksonville. This one did not disappoint. Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff. Totally enjoyed our stay, will definitely plan to return again.

Consistently Wonderful

We have been regular guests at Rivetdale Inn since it opened. I think we have stayed in almost every room on the property. The in is well located in a historic district that is interesting with diverse shopping and culinary opportunities within walking distance as well as a great museum, the owners and staff are friendly and welcoming, the decor is tasteful, interesting and attractive. The bedding and linens are exceptional, Breakfast us a made to order treat. Our grandchildren feel so at home thete they might curl up on the sofa by the fire with a book or play chess on the third floor. One wants to have a "Sweey Sixteen" party there, Obviously we hope to return often,

Convenient, attractive, and delicious

This Inn was very convenient for a stop off 95 while traveling, and we thought they had the best breakfast of any of the several B&Bs where we'd stayed for the past couple weeks. You get to choose and we had the blueberry pancakes and pecan waffles. Everyone was helpful and nice, and the room was lovely. Interesting old house.

Excellent for minivacation

We stayed in the Lancaster room and loved it. Spacious with a king size bed and easily accomidated my husbands sleep machine without needing special treatment or changes. Breakfast was yummy and satisfying while also being plated appealingly. Well worth every cent we paid and we will be returning any time we are in Jacksonville for any reason!

Wonderful stay for NYE and bowl game

5 on January 06, 2016

My husband and I traveled to Jacksonville for the first time to go to the Taxslayer bowl game at Everbank Field. We have never been to JAX before, and we had no idea which area would be pleasant and fun to stay. We are both early thirties and like a low key night life, but a night life none the less. The area in which this B & B Is located was perfect with fantastic restaurants and low keys bars within walking distance or within 2 miles drive. It was perfect, and we found the Riverside area of JAX quaint and lovely to stay near the water. The B&B itself was the best one we have ever stayed in too. The home is historic and beautiful, and you can tell the owners pay attention to detail and care about the stay of their guests. This was seen in so many ways: the made to order breakfast which patrons order off a menu (delicious and large servings each morning with coffee, tea, and juices), the honor system bar, the tidying of rooms each morning and changing of sheets, the treats of cookies or banana bread set out in the main foyer, and overall the genial and generous nature of the owners. Compared to the older and more commercial feel of the downtown area, Riverside is the ideal spot for a pleasant stay and Riverdale Inn is unmatched.
