We reserved the entire Fig Tree Inn for our daughters wedding. We are from out of state so had to rely on our daughter and her fiancé to find a place we could stay and hold their wedding reception. This was the PERFECT PLACE! It is located a little over a block from the beach which made it ideal for a beach wedding! Lori and her mother and father were MORE than accommodating! We couldn't have asked for more. The accommodations were very clean and enjoyable. We would do it all over again because they made our stay FANTASTIC!!!

Dawn and Kevin-thank you both for allowing our group to take over your wonderful b & b. We all had a fantastic time. Food was superb and all the extras were a super nice touch. We will be back again and will pass along your place to all we know. We truly loved the relaxed atmosphere your place provided and considering we took over 5 rooms- all of us were very pleased with everything you offered ....

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Inn. Place had an old Florida feel and the location was perfect. Sooo many restaurants within walking distance. And the beach is literally a block away. I'd recommend this place to anyone who likes more for a vacation than being crammed into a generic holiday inn.

My husband and I needed to travel to Jacksonville, as he is being seen by the Mayo Clinic. It was my husband who found the Fig Tree Inn and suggested we stay there. To be perfectly honest, I had absolutely NO desire to stay at a B&B. But I decided to anyway. I am so glad we did. The Fig Tree Inn is the only place we will ever stay while we are in Jacksonville! We've had to return once a month since February for follow up visits to Mayo and each time we can't wait to go back to our "home away from home" Dawn and Kevin are absolutely wonderful and the Inn is beautiful. We always stay in the "Garden Room" but all the rooms are beautiful, each with their own theme. We love the relaxed, no pressure, atmosphere Dawn & Kevin have created. They provide everything you need from a variety of food in the kitchen to little touches, like a variety of toiletries in the rooms. You could never stay at any hotel and have the proprietors ask how you are doing and actually be concerned with your health and well being. If you are needing to stay in Jacksonville, The Fig Tree Inn is the place to stay! You won't be disappointed.

I have stayed at the Fig Tree Inn with my sweetie twice. In 2006 we stayed in the Garden Room and this year, in the Palm Room. Both are great, but I prefer the Garden Room for its large bathroom! The Innkeepers are so friendly and do their best to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The beach is just a short walk away and staying at the Fig Tree provides an escape from it all, even in the middle of busy Jacksonville Beach. Best time to stay is end of June, beginning of July when figs are ripe on the authentic fig tree behind the inn. We recommend this lovely B & B to all our friends!

Dawn & Kevin were the best. I had a health issue to arrive during my stay and they were very helpful. Loved the antique stores & shopping within walking distance. Beach was quite. Loved cooking fresh seafood on site.

Just Fabulous - All Rooms Great - We stayed in the Nautilus Room and it was so wonderful and had a sitting room. Innkeepers were just right - talking some and leaving you alone. Place wonderfully decorated - roomy and private. Short half block to the beach. Thank YOU for a great stay.
