The Coquina Inn Bed & Breakfast

We were the only guests, so it was quiet as well. Plenty of space to wander and relax., nice walk to the beach. We were only there one night, but a week would have been great! There was a little dust in the corners, but my home isn't immaculate either. Breakfast was delicious.The only disappointment was the tankless water heater, which left me in cold water twice during my shower. We would stay there again.

Very comfortable, relaxing B&B. Felt like we could wander around and sit anywhere we wanted. Breakfasts were truly gourmet, room was cozy, bed was comfy. Atmosphere was unhurried, homey -- just what I needed/wanted.

We enjoyed our time at Coquina Inn. The breakfasts were phenomenal.

Loved the bed & sheets! And the food was fantastic! Steve & Rhonda know how to pamper their guests.

Innkeeper was friednly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Inn was conveniently located, and had everything you could want/need. This was our 2nd stay here and will be back.

Historic property was great. Felt like being at my own home. Breakfast service was terrific. Host couple very friendly.

What a great place to relax. This unique and quiet repite from the noisier trappings of Daytona was a welcome place to unwind. And yet it's so close and convenient from which to access everything Daytona has to offer. We'll be back! Kudos to Steve and Rhonda, the proprietors for feeding us well and spoiling us with great service!

We have just returned from a month holiday in Florida - from a very cold England. Our stay at the Coquina inn was a highlight in our holiday. We had a wonderful 4 day stay,a beautiful historic house in Daytona old town. We loved the fact you could leave the car and walk. The Inn is a lovely home from home, antiques, beautiful sheets! wonderful yummy breakfast and 2 charming and welcoming hosts Steve and Godiva (dog host with the most)!!! if we are ever in Daytona again we will stay at the Coquina Inn. My husband & I stayed in the Jasmine Room for our 5 year wedding anniversary. It's very nice and the Inn Keepers (Steve and Rhonda) are very gracious hosts. Beaware...the fireplace in the Jasmine Room is NOT a working fireplace. They have a very pretty candelabra in it. We will likely return again when we are in the area. They are also pet friendly which is a big PLUS for us.

This was our second trip to the Coquina Inn since we enjoyed our stay so much last year. The value is incredible for what you get for your stay- a gorgeous room, delicious made from scratch breakfast, snacks and sherry. Steve and Rhonda make the stay all the better as they are friendly and accomodating but not intrusive. Would highly recommend!

Very accommodating and friendly host. Rooms were immaculate. Great location near marina and restaurants. Plan to stay next year on our way to Miami. Can't beat the cost.

Steve is a very congenial host and keeps this historic b&b very well maintained. It is a very pretty house and the location was very convenient to the wharf and the beaches. The meals were excellent, and I enjoyed talking with him and the other guests.

What a wonderful Inn! I worked for Marriott for 10 years and Steve and Rhonda really know what they are doing. The breakfasts were outstanding! The rooms are comfortable and feel like home. The hospitality was wonderful. The hardest part of coming home was realizing breakfast would not be "served".

We thouroughly enjoyed our week's stay at the Coquina Inn. Tastefully decorated; friendly atmosphere; delicious 5 course breakfast every morning. The Innkeeper was very accomodating and friendly. Godiva, the VP of Sunshine, was present every morning to help us finish our breakfasts. The turndown service with chocolates on our beds every night was a nice touch. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Steve & Rhonda have a beautiful place. My team took over the place & used all (5) rooms. Although we didn't win the tennis tournament, we all agreed it was a great weekend because we all stayed together in a very comfortable home at a great rate.

Can not say enough about the inn. It was fantastic, from the service, food, & cleanliness, everything was great. Looking forward for our next visit.

The rooms are beautifully appointed with a fresh crisp charm. Beds are amazingly comfortable with high end linens. Everything was super clean but the homemade gourmet breakfast were the best. Highly recommended!!

Steve and Rhonda have thought of everything. Snacks during the day, robes, turndown chocolates, artwork, upstairs soda fridge and ice. Great hospitality, inviting rooms, quiet, great trees. Wonderful porch on second floor. And this place is immaculately clean!

Came to visit a friend in Good Samaritan Assisted Living, and location was great. Steve was very hospitable and showed us around. The inn was very comfortable, safe and always welcoming. The food was wonderful! Each morning was a treat to be served such a sumptious breakfast in leisurely fashion. Made each day start out perfectly. In the evenings, it was a delight to come back to oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies and a leisurely soak in the claw foot tub. Then to climb in the delightful 600 thread count sheets and relax!!! Beautiful, peaceful home where you're made to feel very welcome by Steve, Rhonda and Godiva. Fantastic home-cooked breakfast, large comfortable rooms and a hot tub to get away from that Florida heat.

We stayed in the Hibiscus Room of the Coquina Inn for our anniversary get away. When we arrived to the inn, we were warmly greeted by owner Steve Hunt. After reviewing our reservations, he took us on a full tour of the home and were able to view all the unoccupied bedrooms too. Our room was bright and airy with lots of windows. We had our own private balcony that overlooked wonderful old oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Steve made fresh homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies available to us at any time along with complimentary beverages and sherry and port selections. When we came back to the inn after our outing that evening, our room had been given turn down service complete with chocolates and a note congratulating us on our anniversary. In the morning, we dined on fresh baked muffins, watermellon, home made pecan waffles topped with strawberries and bananas and a side of bacon. All food was prepared fresh and presented to us in courses in an artful manner. Aside from the wonderful architecture of the inn, Steve himself was a treasure as he was friendly, conversational and so accommodating but never overbearing or intrusive towards his guests. Also, I felt the rates for the inn were very fair especially considering all the extras we received. We will definitely stay at the Coquina Inn again!

Spent one night at this historic, lovely B&B. Steve, the owner, was very friendly and his wife, Rhonda, served an outstanding breakfast.

Having lived in England for the past 19 years and also running a bed & breakfast myself in Devon at one time, I was so pleased to find Coquina Inn B&B during my brief stay in Daytona. We arrived to a warm welcome late on a Sunday evening. After running through all the information and history of the house, Steve showed us a few rooms and said, "Take your pick". We chose the Jasmine room which couldn't have been more perfect with it's four-poster bed, cast iron bathtub, guest bathrobes, candles, CD player, beautiful rugs, etc. This room was the ideal romantic weekend getaway bedroom! Steve was very accommodating and asked if we would like to use the hot tub. He went outside and turned it on and told us it would be 45 minutes to heat up, but that in the meantime we could sit in the living room and taste the sherry and port they out for their guests. The hot tub, which was under a gazebo in their garden, was perfect to relax in. Breakfast was served in the bright and cheery dining room. You have to go just for the outstanding breakfast Steve cooks! Fresh coffee or tea, juice, jams, cereal, eggs poached with parmesan and herbs...mmm, it was so delicious! Although we checked out at 11am, Steve still let us use the Inn's bicycles for the day. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in this well serviced historical house and Inn. Oh, and even though we didn't bring the dog, they are pet friendly! I couldn't praise Steve and Rhonda anymore for making our stay in Daytona comfortable, relaxing and romantic! The Coquina Inn is fabulous. We met Steve as we arrived and instantly felt right at home. We stayed 4 nights, each morning awaking to wonderful smells coming from the kitchen and finding the scrumptious breakfast that awaited us. We just returned to our real home, but these photos of the Coquina Inn are making me feel "homesick"! We will abosolutely return whenever we get back to Daytona Beach.

This B&B was outstanding in all ways I only wish we had more then a night to spend there. All the unique little touches through out this B&B put it above the rest. The breakfast is not to be missed.

Our host, Steve Hunt, was helful with local information to make our stay more enjoyable. Our rooms were inviting and gracious.

My only regret about my stay at the Coquina Inn B+B was the lack of time to enjoy the hot tub. The breakfasts and snacks were delicious! (I am still making the lemon-ricotta biscuits - thanks for the recipe!) Our room and beds were VERY comfortable. Only a block or two from the beach, we could sit outside and read on the second floor patio. The lovely ambiance of the coquina stone walls. the history of the home, and the quiet neighborhood added charm to an already pleasant stay.. I surely hope to go back. We went in May but this would be a wonderful winter retreat, too.

A truly classic B&B with all the bells & whistles to be enjoyed in the Sunshine State.

The inn was delightfully appealing anf the innkeeper could not have done more for us. She provided fabulous, gourmet breakfasts, information, beach bag & necessities for the beach.

Our weekend getaway at the Coquina Inn was excellent in every way! Steve is a personable host and gave us perfect recommendation on place to dine. The inn itself is charming, close to everything, and the rooms are fabulouse. We will stay there again if in Daytona.

This is our second visit to Coquina. We've enjoyed both visits very much. The owners Rhonda and Steve are very nice people. It's a convenient B&B for us, considering we live in town. Somehow it still feels like we're getting away from all the normal hustle & bustle.

We had an amazing stay at the bed and breakfast. Our daughter was getting married and they went above and beyond in every way possible to make the event and our stay simply perfect. A lovely Inn, with exceptional service and attention to details! VERY clean, delightfully furnished rooms. I loved waking up in my bright room and smelling something yummy baking in the kitchen. Steve was a great host! I would definitely stay here again.

Great location- close enough to bike to the beach, but far enough away from the spring-breakers. Interesting house, interesting host. Great hot tub, delicious food in just the right amounts.

My husband and I spent New Years Eve 2008 at the Coquina Inn Steve was a wonderful host although we did not get to meet his wife Rhonda we look forward to meeting her next time. The inn was just beautiful a very comfortable and relaxing breakfast was one of the best breakfast we ever had. Close walk to historic downtown and the waterway I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was great! It is in the historic district which makes for a nice afternoon walk. Popular attractions are a quick drive away. Steve is a wonderful innkeeper and makes a yummy breakfast. We can't wait to stay here again!

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this and book a getaway anniversary weekend. What we found was a spacious and unique Inn, close enough to all Daytona attractions, but in the quaint and relative quiet of the Historic District. Many restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to the beach make this even more appealing. But the Inn itelf is the real attraction. Finely appointed, this unique structure is one of many on the tree lined street that makes up the heart of the old town. Our room was especially comfortable, making more of a destination that a launching point. The bed was especially comfortable and we found ourselves asking as to the type and will be buying one in the near future. Great common areas include a front room with grand piano and fireplace, a sun room and even a balcony. The dining room is equipped with complimentary soft drinks and fresh baked confections and there is also Port and Brandy available for those so inclined. The grounds include a comfortable deck and hot tub situated in a nicely landscaped and manicured yard. Then there's the breakfast. Home cooked and truly five course, this is no mere continental. It was enough to last through dinner and served in a most elegant manner. Hosts Steve and Rhonda are most gracious and personable, making the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended for a Florida vacation or weekend getaway.

I recently visited The Coquina Inn B&B while on business, and had a marvelous stay. Steve and Rhonda (Innkeepers) were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The Inn was immaculate, and offered a really relaxing atmosphere. Their breakfasts are incredible and offered on YOUR schedule...It was a great visit!
