The Coombs Inn, a romantic Bed and Breakfast in three elegant Victorian Mansions, welcomes guests to experience historic charm in an intimate setting. The Inn consists of the original Mansion, the Villas, and the Veranda Suites, each filled with antiques, original oil paintings and oriental carpets from all over the world. We have 23 guest suites all with private baths of which 7 are luxurious Jacuzzis, and 17 original decorative fireplaces. Our Inn on the “Forgotten Coast” is located in the heart of historic district, where the Apalachicola River and Bay converge. Enjoy superb fishing and boating, and the pristine white beaches of St. George Island and Cape San Blas. Walk or bicycle to nearby restaurants, gift shops, museums, and the famous Dixie Theatre.
Garden gazebo weddings with an adjoining 60 seat Camellia Hall is a romantic setting for your special event.

From the East: Take US98 across the Apalachicola Bay Bridge. Go to the blinking traffic light and turn left, staying on US98. Travel 3 blocks West, the Coombs House Inn will be on your left at the corner of US98 and 6th Street. - Nearest major airport: Tallahassee, FL (TLH) 70 miles

Exit airport, turn right on Capital Circle, go 4 miles. Turn right on US319 (Crawfordville Road). After about 35 miles (10 miles after Sopchoppy) it will merge with US98 & run together. Take US319/98 thru Eastpoint, go across the Bay on Gorrie Bridge 5 miles to Apalachicola.
