The Pirate Haus Inn was a fine place to stay in downtown St. Augustine with two boys. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the sheets soft. There was no television, but that was okay, because we didn't spend much time in the room. The room themes are great. We stayed in the pirate room and loved it. I would caution anyone with difficulty climbing stairs, because this Inn is on the second floor and the stairs leading up to the rooms are very steep. Parking presents a challenge, but that's normal for St. Augustine. Do your research, be prepared to walk and you should be fine.

The rooms were basic but everything about Pirate Haus was great. The web site is very accurate about what to expect. The owner Conrad and his staff make you feel welcome.
