This was a gift from our children for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before and were overwhelmed with all the hospitality. Marie and Dave go out of their way to make you feel right at home. Betty watches over you to make sure you are comfortable. We loved our room, the bed was comfortable and the balcony was very private. Everything they offered for breakfast was delicious!!! We were sad to leave and can't wait to go back again.

Penny Farthing Inn was the perfect place to celebrate our first anniversary. The owners, Marie and David couldn't have been nicer. They were very helpful advising us where we might dine out. The location was great because most of the shops and attractions were within easy walking distance. Our room was especially nice because it had its own private entrance. If you are planning a trip to St. Augustine, I hope you would consider the Penny Farthing Inn for your stay.

Always a treat to visit St Augustine, and the Penny Farthing was the highlight. Housekeeper Betty couldn't be more helpful or personable. Breakfast was delicious, wine and cheese ready every afternoon, and a sherry in the room every evening. Location was perfect - quiet street in a scenic section, but a short walk to everything. To top it off, my wife left a hat, and before we drove the short hour home, there was a message on our phone to remind us we'd left it! We travel a lot, and would highly recommend this to anyone, young or old.

We stayed 2 nights while there for a wedding. The room was ready when we arrived (2pm, ahead of posted check in time) and there were snacks and wine in the house. Breakfast was great each morning and service was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again.

Tremendously friendly and helpful team really made the two night visit a tremendous start to a longer touring holiday. The whole ambiance is exactly right for a relaxing and enjoyable break and the Windsor Room is a very comfortable and romantic setting. The little extras such as home made cakes and complimentary sherry were lovely touches too, and much appreciated.

Spent a couple of nights here recently. It was average. The building looked tired but the inside was quaint. Wasnt impressed with the dilapidated building 2 doors down especially as it was the first house on the street as you turn in. Gave the whole street a run down look Breakfast was varied each morning but was slightly disappointed as my expectations were based on comparison to the B&B's in the North East or at least an English Breakfast as the name of the Inn would suggest. First day was pancakes smothered in some sort of cherry sauce. I would have preferred that on the side with the choice of syrup. Yuk! They did have good bacon though!!!!! Second day was scrambled eggs which were cold and I cant remember what else,so it obviously wasnt memorable. Staff were very friendly and courteous so that was a plus.
The Windsor is our newest addition to the inn; located on the bottom floor. This room includes, a queen size bedm a large enclosed stand up shower, and your very own private kitchen with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and has plenty of cabinet space for an extended stay if needed!
a NEWLY RENOVATED 2-room suite on the entire third floor of the main house. It is a beautiful, large space with a touch of history decor -This is the largest and most private on our property. It has a very large, private sundeck with covered gazebo offering breathtaking views of the treetops and magnificent spires of nearby historic buildings.
This secluded room is high atop and nestled in the boughs of a magnificent cedar tree for which the street was named. It is an elegant, yet cozy, and decorated with period antiques. Enjoy your sitting nook with fireplace and stained glass windows and tree top vistas from your very private balcony.
This comfortable bedchamber in St. Augustine is furnished with antiques and decorated with Victorian roses and lace. This room features a very rare original brass sink vanity and is located on the second floor which includes a private balcony with a love seat along the side of the inn.
This large, beautiful bedchamber is furnished with period antiques, offering a passage back in time for those who wish to enjoy the quintessential Victorian experience. Located in the front of the house, the entire second floor balcony with hommock is yours.
