Romantic rooms & suites, private walled yard with lush gardens, balconies, whirlpool tubs, gourmet breakfast, fireplaces, quiet location in St Augustine's historic district, inn built in 1791, free parking, near everything, antiques, temperature-controlled swimming pool. Old world charm permeates the The St Francis Inn, a historic bed and breakfast located in the nation's oldest city, Saint Augustine Florida. Each room and suite is distinctive, in its layout and individual decor. The walled courtyard garden is peaceful, private, and a favorite place to unwind. The Inn's gourmet full breakfasts are exceptional, and the private balconies, porches, temperature-controlled swimming pool, bicycles, and cozy living and dining rooms add to the ambiance. We rented the cottage at this B&B...What a sweet little house. We came to St. Augustine with another couple for a two day visit. Very pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really delicious. Will definitely consider staying here again on a trip to St. Augustine in the future.

Nice, cozy, quiet little inn. Just what my wife and I needed to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Would definitely return.

Very romantic and full of charm! The staff was all very sweet, and went above and beyond for our stay. We visited for my husbands birthday, and they placed a bottle of champagne with a sweet note. Very nice touch!

The St Francis Inn is a wonderful place for a quiet getaway in an amazing historical city. The Inn is like stepping back in time. The staff are very helpful an friendly to their guests. The breakfast fare is delicious, and you can make your own Mimosas' or Bloody Mary with locally distilled Vodka. The afternoon social hour and evening dessert hour are both wonderful. Again, locally brewed beer and wines are available to sample as well as wonder snacks and desserts. Located on historic St George Street, you are minutes away walking distance to shops, restaurants and tourist sites alike. Highly recommend you try this B & B & St Augustine as well.

The Saint Francis continues to be the place for us. The primary asset you have is your staff. We have gotten to know most of them and come to regard them as friends. That is because, in addition to being fine Innkeepers, they are wonderful people.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and stayed until Sunday morning. The Inn is within walking distance to the Riverfront and any place of interest you'd like to visit in the old downtown area. There is a social hour in the evening and a wonderful breakfast offered in the morning - we were very pleased with our stay. The Balcony Room was so spacious and cozy at the same time. All the employees were very helpful and friendly.:) We will be back! Karen & Bruce Fleming Sebastian Fl

There were two couples in our party. We stayed in the cottage which was adjacent to the inn. It was a very nice place to stay. Everything was so clean and staff were very friendly.

My three childhood friends from Maryland visit me every year in Orlando, but this year we decided to stay one night in St. Augustine for the Festival of Lights. The Cottage at the St. Francis Inn was the perfect accommodation. We had our own private "home" with one queen bed and two twins upstairs, plus a pullout sofa downstairs, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and living room - charming antique furniture and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed all the free amenities of the Inn including a social hour with wine/beer/appetizers, evening dessert, and a complete hot buffet breakfast with make your-own Bloody Mary's and Champagne on the weekend. This is not the fanciest B&B in town, but if you appreciate history (1791), a welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere and a quiet but convenient location, this is the place to stay.
