    • Directions to property:
From Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and Southwest Florida Via I-75 Take I-75 north to S.R. 44 east at Wildwood. Although the map shows you've overshot Mount Dora, it's more direct than the often confusing back roads. At Wildwood, stay on S.R. 44 to U.S. 441. Take 441 south to Mount Dora. Another option is taking I-4 to Orlando, exiting at the Florida Turnpike, and taking the Turnpike north about 9 miles to exit 267A -- the Apopka exit -- which is S.R. 429 north. This is a toll road, and the toll is $1. Follow 429 to the end at Hwy 441 and turn left (north). Follow 441 in to Mount Dora, approximately 12 miles. From Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Northeast Florida: Via I-95 Take I-95 south to I-4 west. At Sanford, take S.R. 46 west into Mount Dora. S.R. 46 turns into First Avenue in Mount Dora. From Tallahassee, Gainesville and North Florida: Via I-75 Take I-75 south to S.R. 44 east. At Wildwood, stay on S.R. 44 to U.S. 441. Take 441 south to Mount Dora. Via Florida Turnpike Take turnpike to the Leesburg exit. Go to Leesburg and then to U.S. 441. Take 441 south to Mount Dora. When you reach Mount Dora... 1) Whichever direction you've come from, you'll find that the center of town is at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Donnelly Street. 2) From here, head east to Grandview Street (at the Episcopal Church), turn right. 3) Follow Grandview past the railroad tracks to the stop sign at Gilbert Park and turn left. The inn will be on your left. 4) We'll be there to greet you.

we were looking for a place to stay with some character, and boy did we find it!. the inn is lovely and sits on these tranquil grounds next to the park and lake. perfect for that late night walk! the innkeepers, jack and inez are special folks...jack is the sort of guy who can tell you a great story about long ago, or a really great movie you should see,and has a huge selection of old westerns and great movies available! Inez, , is very charming, and makes you feel like you are staying with famliy...the breakfast was amazing! good old fashioned sunday breakfast! we really enjoyed our visit, and especially liked Jack's Den room.. we had lots of room to stretch out and it felt like a suite! we will come back again and again.
