Miami Guest House

Tomas and Luis, the hosts, are absolutely lovely and helpful. The house is incredibly organized and neat, with all the resources one can need. The neighborhood is like a dream, loved it! Even Miami being huge (you can do almost nothing on foot), this house is very well localized, near the airport and near the mall of the americas and sedanos supermarket. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Tomas and Luis's place for a week before and after boarding our cruise in Miami. They are THE MOST hospitable hosts I have ever met. It is nice to know that such a level of care is still alive among some of us people and both of them can be proud to know that I would absolutely recommend their lovely place to anyone passing through Miami. They were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help us when we found out our tickets were cancelled to come home to Europe due to a strike. Go ahead, reserve your room, you won't regret it! This place is amazing. The price is really cheap, and the product/service is high quality. I came with two student friends for the weekend. Tomas and Luis were really great hosts. They drove us to the airport, and also to our conference in the U of Miami. Tomas even gave us a short tour around town. Breakfast was great. The house is neat and welcoming. If you come to Miami, here's the place to stay!!

Incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and affordable. We initially canceled our two-night reservation the day of due to snow and Tomas was very understanding, but at the last minute we were able to come for one day and they made room for us. The accommodations were very comfortable and included every convenience (fridge, hairdryer, extra toothbrush for people like me who forget mine, soap, iron, etc.). Tomas even drove us to South Beach instead of our calling a taxi. I highly recommend Miami Guest House and hope to be able to return for a longer stay some time.

Really nice peaceful atmosphere with interesting decor, comfortable bedroom, and commodious bathroom, plus friendly help and good Miami history from Tomas-- and the strip of restaurants up the block is great!

My partner and I had a complicated arrival and departure schedule from Miami Airport. Tomas and Luis let us be comfortable in their Guest House as much as we needed. Tomas even helped me learn a short cut to the airport and back - very friendly hosts indeed. Liked the breakfast alcove and the all day available munchies. Appreciated the advice and the tourist information that they had. Look forward to the next stay

Tomas was very nice and attentive to all our needs, airport pickup included, told us where to go, suggested what to see, drove us to and from the mall. I would definetly go back and stay longer at his place.

My husband and I went to Miami because of a school admission interview. We arrived at Sunday evening and spent a night in Miami Guest House. We were very concerned about the traffic in the morning. Tomas and Luis are extremely helpful. They searched for the best route to avoid heavy traffic and made a colorful printout to help me getting to the school. The breakfast was very tasty, fresh and much more than we could consume :) The bedroom was very clean and spotless! We definitely will come back again, A+++, highly recommended.

To say that I enjoyed my time at this lovely B&B is a VAST understatement. It is hands-down an amazing value for a local or international traveler. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and willing to please. They were constantly concerned about how to make my stay a more pleasant one by helping with directions, travel tips, recommending local attractions/restaurants, making sure my room was nice and kitchenette well-stocked. Book your stay here if you want make your Miami experience a truly unforgettable one. I myself [initially] changed my oceanfront hotel reservation and booked with Miami Guest House once I saw the house and read all glowing guest reviews here on TripAdvisor. I am [now] proud to call Tomas and Luis my good friends and extended family and will certainly be a [frequent] guest when in Miami.

We are 4 Italian friends and we absolutely recommend Tomas and Luis bb first of all because they are very special persons and because the bb is very nice, in a quite position, 10 minute from the apt and 15 minute from Miami Beach. We really felt home during our stay! Tomas and Luis help you in everything you need and it's not so easy to find persons like them.

Not a multi-rooms high-rise commercial complex but an American private house offering friendly and helpful home-stay on flexible and personalized terms. No more than 10 minutes drive from the international airport, the house enjoys a quiet neighborhood without any noise pollution. I was traveling alone with a tight schedule to visit two local universities. I was offered a free ride to the train station for transit, another to one of the universities, and a final one to the airport for departure. That not only saved my transport costs but more importantly my trouble and time in moving around. Most accommodations in Miami are not favorable to single traveler because their room charge is based on two persons. I prefer a room to a dormitory bed in a youth hostel because I need rest more than chat. The Miami Guest House charged me the cost of just one person even I was staying in a room all by myself. The bed and TV were good. The washroom was clean and well maintained. The breakfast had more than I could take in terms of both quantity and variety. Simple reservation by email with trust in my words and clarifications to my questions relieved my many pre-trip worries. I will certainly return and stay here in my next trip especially when a personalized friendship is now developed. Highly recommend to single, group and family travelers. Arthur Cheung, Hong Kong.

Tomas and Luis are wonderful!! My stay would not have been as good as it was if it wasn't for their help and friendliness! I had difficulties with bus company bookings which Tomas took care of by calling and sorting it all out for me! They were also willing to drop me off at shopping malls if it fitted in with their schedules!!! The room, although a little small was very clean as was the bathroom. They even sorted out a special breakfast for my gluten free diet needs! I highly recommend this guest house to anyone who is on a budget and appreciates friendly service! 3-31-09

Highly recommended. The host, Tomas was excellent and very attentive. My wife and I were the first "honey-mooners" at the Guest House and they made it a great time for us. As an experienced Bed and Breakfast person, I found that what the host advertised was accurate, which is not always the case. Very quiet and comfortable. Very Cuban-esque. A classic middle class Floridian home. Very clean.
