Grace Manor B & B was like an oasis! We Re riding our bikes across the country and staying here has been the highlight of the trip, this far. Brenda made us fell at home, the Inn is stunning, the food spectacular, the pool the best and the grounds are beautiful! You don't want to miss this one! If we weren't on a right schedule, we would stay another night or 2!

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this B&B was. Not just the house but the grounds as well. Brenda was a wonderful inn keeper. Yummy food too. Not much around to do in town but that isn't why we stayed. We stayed here because it wasn't in a city and it was very charming from the photos and description and did not disappoint. We were on a road trip and didn't spend more than one night in most places and we were looking for unique places to stay rather than a motel/hotel chain. Grace Manor was a lucky find since there was nothing else in the area but chain motels. Would definitely go back. Thanks Brenda, Peggy & Bonney from San Diego. Remember us??? We enjoyed everything about staying at this beautiful Victorian style B & B. Brenda couldn't do enough to make us feel at home.

Grace Manor is a lovely B&B. The house is from the 1890’s and beautifully restored. The rooms are interesting, clean and charmingly decorated. There are several nice common rooms and lots of porches to enjoy. There is a nice pool and the grounds are large and nicely landscaped. The owner and hostess, Brenda, is friendly and welcoming and very concerned about her guests comfort. Brenda serves a large, hot breakfast and takes great pride in her food. The biggest negatives have to do with location. The house is located right on a corner of highways 90 & 221. So there is a lot of through traffic. I didn’t find the traffic noise to be unpleasant inside, but then it was summer and the A/C was going strong. It might be noisy if you want to keep the windows open in cooler weather. Also, the porches are lovely but they look directly onto this busy intersection and across the street is an unattractive convenience store and gas station. Also, the town of Greenville is tiny and has practically nothing to do or see. We chose this location because we were just passing through and it was good for a night. But you wouldn’t go there to stay for a long weekend. Monticello to the west or Madison to the east are both charming towns with B&Bs of their own. And each of those towns has walking tours of neighborhoods of old homes and other historic sites and activities. Since Greenville is so small, there is practically no place for dinner except for a burger at the Dairy Queen out at the I-10 highway exit. So Brenda serves an optional and delicious 4-course dinner for $25. Bring your own wine. Again, this is fine for one night. But you would have to drive a long way if you wanted any variety on a second night.

Brenda, the owner, is a great cook and the food is presented very attractively. She has the best "home made" tomato juice in the world! Her shrimp and grits are great also, as is every thing we have eaten there. The house is so beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The grounds are level and pretty, and the pool is very refreshing. We stay there whenever we drive down that way. Brenda is very gracious and friendly, and we always look forward to our visit at Grace Manor.

The house is a spectacular old Victorian-style home. Brenda is a wonderful, gracious hostess, and a dynamite chef! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What an awesome evening I had at Grace Manor! Excellent food, amenities and most of all good conversation with guests and owner over dinner and breakfast. The B&B decor is very nostalgic and the yard surrounding the home was manicured for easy walking. If you're in the area, I would recommend to stay here and enjoy the beauty all around.

Between Grace Manor and Ray Charles, we discovered two important reasons to spend some time in Greenville. The Bronze of that famous singer-song writer and a historic but fully modernized hotel (with real fire places AND air conditioning) took us back to days when enjoying life and fine food were things to be cherished . . . . and actively pursued. The weather was cool but we managed to relax on the expansive porches; shaded by ancient oaks. The rooms reminded us of 'Gone With the Wind', and breakfast was quite elegant -- fresh fruits, baked pumpkin puffs, and bacon-spinach quiche. When will we return? . . . . ASAP!

Stayed on 9-2-12 and had a wonderful time. What a beautiful house, we stayed in the Honeymoon suite, very nice. Brenda is a fantastic host and an incredible cook, we really enjoyed talking and getting to know her. It was very nice going for a swim in the pool, weather was perfect, everything was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

My daughter and I stayed here on the way to visit my dad. When we went inside I was amazed at how beautiful it was. Brenda is very warm and friendly. The house is beautifully decorated - one of the nicest B & Bs I have stayed in. There is even a pool! It was very clean and warm. My daughter and I stayed in the Rose room. The adjacent sun room was great for my daughter who stayed up to watch one of Brenda's DVD's. She has games, books and DVD's available. Breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend this B & B. It's just a couple miles north of I-10.
