Our aim is to help you forget your worries and form long lasting happy memories during your stay at the Mellon Patch Inn Bed and Breakfast. Our cottage style Inn is reminiscent of a Key West style guest house. A great alternative to hotels and motels. Established in 1994, The Mellon Patch serves as a Bed and Breakfast and is the ideal place for friends and family to gather for those special occasions or spend a relaxing vacation, fishing or visiting Fort Pierce beach. If you are looking for that perfect place to relax have a romantic getaway or have your Wedding, Social Event, Engagement Party, Bridal Shower or just have a fun filled weekend or an entire week then look no further. Our Inn is across the street from the beautiful Fort Pierce beach and we have our own dock with no fixed bridges to the ocean.

We had a great time, Emily and Rich were very accomidating to our low carb diet ad mde us feel very much at home. The beach is just across the road and the property inback is very quiet and private. We will return many more times.

The new owners, Rich and Emily, are delightful! Breakfast was yummy, the inn is decorated so adorable and it felt like a home away from home. The location is perfect with the beach across the street and intercoastal in the back yard. I can't wait to return in a couple of months!

The property was in a bit of a renovation phase, as they are putting in a pool and spa. Even so, a very comfortable stay. The owner, Kathy, is serious about cleanliness and very available to her guests. And she's very creative. The pics on the websites don't do the property justice - it's a bit eclectic but very comfortable and tastefully Floridian. Breakfast was different each morning. All the fruit was fresh and luscious. Kathy's cooking was homey, healthy and tasty. Great stay!

The Serendipity room is on the second floor. The theme is truly relaxing, complete with hand painted wall murals to capture the Serendipity flare. This room includes both a king size and twin bed and a balcony.
