This is the front of the River House which sits on the Rocky Broad River and directly beneath Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park.
This is the view of one side and the rear of the RH also showing a swimming area behind the inn. The inn has four decks overlooking the beautiful river.
Front of the RH, complete with table and chairs where you can relax, eat, and watch all the interesting people who walk, drive, and cycle by going into the quaint village of Chimney Rock.

This is the main deck which is accessible through french doors out of the dining room and kitchen. The deck can be used for breakfast, cocktails, reading, and relaxing. This deck also has a charcoal grill which guests are welcome to use.

Kitchen where some guests choose to eat their breakfast. French doors open out onto the riverside deck where breakfast is also served.
Treetop Suite upstairs with huge picture window overlooking the river. This suite also has a second bedroom with two twin beds and a flat screen t.v...perfect for children.

The River House at Chimney Rock is a riverfront inn which has been renovated over the past year in a rustic refined style and is comfortable and relaxing. The River House is also within walking distance to the charming village of Chimney Rock and Chimney Rock State Park and all the amenities and activities available in the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area.

We highly recommend the River House at Chimney Rock. The owner was extrememly nice and really cared about her guests and their comfort. The staff was outstanding as well.
