Convenient to everything but soothingly situated in a quiet, upscale Victorian neighborhood, the 8000 square foot mansion, its cottages and pool rest on a full manicured acre where guests will find a smoke-free atmosphere - including patios, porches, pool and gardens. Rooms are uniquely appointed with antiques, oriental rugs and period pieces, and offer comparable baths with spa robes and amenities. Daily gourmet breakfast, evening social hour with hot hors d'oeuvres, and complimentary bikes and beach equipment complete the luxury experience.     • Deposit amount required (Confirmed reservations require a deposit of 50% of the total stay or a full deposit on a one-night stay.)
    • Check in time is 3pm and Check out time is 11am
    • Cancellations:
      All cancellations or changes will be charged a minimum $25 rebooking fee. Any changes or cancellations regarding your reservation must be e-mailed at least 14 days prior to your arrival date to have the balance of your deposit refunded. Changes or cancellations after that time will result in a forfeiture of your entire deposit unless we are able to fully re-rent your room. Forfeited deposits may not be applied toward another booking. No changes or cancellations within 48 hours of arrival.

    Take advantage of north Florida's fine weather by lounging in the sun by Fairbanks House's inground pool or under the jasmine-covered arbor, sure to induce a nap.The arch in the grand foyer matches the arches over the doorways and piazzas indicitive of Italianate style.
    With our 8000 Square-foot mansion, we have space for several large suites with sitting rooms and electric fireplaces such as this first floor suite with a king bed, private porch and double jacuzzi - Room #3.The holidays are a special time at Fairbanks House with lots of lights, decorated banisters and mantels, and a tree in every room.
    A very restful suite, Room #5 features an electric fireplace, Victorian soaking tub and a sunroom that overlooks the pool and gardens.A full gourmet breakfast is served each morning in our formal dining room as well as at more intimate tables for two on our side porches and patios.
    Our Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Getaway package has become one of the most popular packages booked here; we have two rooms that can accommodate up to five ladies and more rooms appropriate for "overflow".Our cottages feature a more relaxed decor while offering the same upscale amenities of the main mansion. The living room pictured here is in our Servants Quarters Cottage - very popular for girls' getaways.
    Views from the tower include Victorian rooftops, the Big Dipper, shuttle launch sightings and fabulous sunsets.Many of our rooms feature two-person jacuzzi tubs such as this one in Room #6's bathroom, which also beasts a beautiful window seat and an electric fireplace across from the tub.
    In addition to the rooms in the main mansion, Fairbanks House offers three cottages nestled into our acre of gardens. This is the back of the Schoolhouse Cottage - perfect for honeymoons and vacations.English tiles around the fireplace in the living room feature Shakespearean characters while the dining room displays Aesop's Fables. In the 1800's, George Fairbanks would have one of the grandchildren select a tile and he'd tell the story.
    Social hours are held each evening in our living room and include complimentary beverages and hot and cold hors d'oeuvres. The rest of the day, the room is open to guests looking for a quiet place to relax or read a book.Room #1 - the original library in the house.
