The Inn at Green River is a restored 19th century farmhouse in Columbia County, New York, close to the Berkshires. The c. 1830 colonial is set on an acre of lawn and gardens, surrounded by hundreds of acres of meadows and woodlands and shaded by ancient sugar maples. Relax in the Adirondack chairs and a hammock on the lower lawn to enjoy the views of the large meadow bordered by the Green River and Cranse Creek. There are seven guest rooms, some with gas fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, cable TV, and WIFI. The Inn is a favorite for quiet, relaxing getaways. Guests appreciate the serene, elegant interior.

The bed and breakfast was purchased in 1999 and was used as a nursing home for many years. Since the purchase we have totally renovated the structure with all of the amenities available in the 21 century. It features internet access in each room and we have a common living room with a 52 in. tv and a large family style dining room with an eleven foot oak table.
