What a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Not for you if you are looking for a lot to do. But we weren't. Very romantic. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful place inside and out. The staff were incredibly attentive, both for room and dining. Loved that they have Nespresso Pixies in the rooms. What a nice touch! Well worth the splurge.
Staying at Creekhaven Inn was an amazing experience. From the first check in through our last day it was so easy to just let the world pass by and savor the moments together. Walking to town and around the area was an experience akin to traveling back in time. Breakfasts were savory. There is not a single thing I could think of that would have improved what was a perfect getaway. You could fly to exotic places and still have less of an experience than what you could enjoy here. Already looking forward to our next trip.
Very welcoming. A tour is made at arrival and points of interest of the entire layout is given in an efficient manner. The room was very comfortable and appointed with comfortable linens, furniture and outside seating for the Dallas suite. Beautiful surroundings that were peaceful and quiet. The breakfast meals were an event in and of themselves. I want to make a return trip within the next six months.
If you enjoy peaceful surroundings, a bubbling brook, hammocks and hot tubs, then consider a nice visit at Creekhaven Inn. The owners are very accommodating to your needs and very attentive, yet unobtrusive. The breakfast each morning varied and was always delicious. The only improvement I would make based on other B&Bs I frequent is they improve their late afternoon to include an assortment of refreshments instead of just red or white wine on Friday only. I am used to full tea with a variety of fresh baked goods or fresh fruit and cheeses with a selection of beverages. That would bring this establishment up to my expectations for a top notch B&B.
No better way to spend my birthday than with my sister and best friend. We did the BBQ cooking school. It was awesome!!!! We learned so much and had a lot of fun! Chef Chris was terrific. He is a great chef and teacher. My only complaint was that the time went by too fast. The property was serene. Can't wait to come back.
We found the Blair House to have a beautiful setting with a veranda to view the ponds, rolling hills & deer feeding in the fields. We sat & watched a thunder storm roll through in the evening with fireflys all over the place. Our room was emaculate and comfortable. It was a little older that what I expected & the pool seems like it needs updating. The food was fresh & good - for our dinner on Saturday night we had prime rib which I found very hard to cut or chew - the flavor was delicious but a better cut of meat would have been a better idea for sure - everything that went along with the dinner was delicious. I would recommend Blair House as overall it was comfortable & inviting.
I proposed to my girlfriend here and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I coordinated the details with the staff for weeks/months and everything turned out better than I expected. The staff went out of their way to help plan and coordinate things. The property was amazing and the rooms were great. The food was perhaps the best part. I still rave about it. Overall a great place to stay. Highly recommended.
No place in Wimberley could be better. It's right on the Wimberley "square" as the name implies. You can walk to many restaurants, etc. This place doesn't look especially impressive when you drive up, but inside it's very attractive, comfortable and perfectly cared-for. Our room was unexpectedly large and included a little refrigerator and microwave. There's a nice patio (though it's sometimes populated by smokers). There are two inside shared "living-room" spaces with comfortable couches. Patrick served first-class and varied breakfasts for our stay -- tasty! We'll definitely return. Stayed August 2016, traveled as a couple
Excellent experience! Far exceeded my expectations! Rustic inn with spacious contemporary rooms. We stayed in the Porter Room which had two balconies from which we saw sunrise and sunset. Great dinner and breakfast. Fantastic service. Near some nice Hill Country wineries.
We had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful weekend at Sage Hill Inn. The food was truly amazing for each meal (and we never missed one while we were there). The spa was relaxing and staff attentive without being intrusive.
I absolutely loved the service and warm welcome from our arrival to departure. The staff was so friendly and add my daughter and I feel at home, away from home! Exactly what we need for our yuck retreat away from stress.
My husband and I have been to this bed and breakfast 3 times because of all the wonderful amenities they offer. It is located on a shady creek where they have kayaks and floats. Also, close enough to town to just walk to most restaurants and shops downtown. A wonderful place to go to relax!
The rooms are exceptional. The cleaning staff is professional and friendly. The only complaint was a spa staff member coughing while getting a spa treatment and the kitchen staff a little too loud when in the dining room. The pool, view and location are exceptional. The only other complaint is finding the place from the road. The sign is away from the road, unlighted and can be easily missed even during daylight. Passed by the entrance a few times, even during the daytime. The sign should be on both sides of entry and closer to road.
Everything was fantastic. I highly recommend it to everyone. Value only got a 3 because it was expensive. But I expected it to be expensive, all of the costs are posted upfront and there are no hidden charges. You know exactly what you're paying before you spend a penny.
Secluded location within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, clean, well furnished rooms, great breakfast, plus a burbling brook to swim in and sit by! Couldn't dream up a better relaxation spot. Thanks Bill & Pat for all you do! - Jeff & Cyndi
If you and your love one are pulled in every direction both personally and professionally, this place is just what the doctor ordered. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, you can relax and enjoy Mother Nature Texas style. Great homemade breakfast surrounded by people looking for tranquility as well. If you up to shopping or hearing great live music, it's only a short distance away. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and plan on returning soon.
More amenities than expected--kayaks for river, cable/jet tub/robes/frig/microwave (all in standard room). Property easy walkable distance to town/restaurants, but also private and gorgeous. Rooms were immaculate and much larger than expected.
