"We had a fabulous stay at the Habberstad House in Lanesboro last weekend! We stayed in the Scandinavian room, that was quite large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There were appetizers (fruit, cheese, crackers and chocolates) and wine and beer offered on check-in for the weekend. It was a nice time to meet the hosts and other couples that were staying there. The breakfasts were very tasty, and extremely filling! I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit with homemade ice cream that started out the first breakfast! We enjoyed biking on the many trails in the area, then to cool off, rented tubes at the Little General store and floated down the root river. There are several restaurants in the area to choose from, and Dave & Nancy (the B&B owners) have menus from several places to help you decide where to go. There are also two theatres in town (right next to each other) and we saw an entertaining play that Nancy was in! We had a great time, and would love to go back!"
