El Deerfield Valley Inn fue construido por John Davis en 1885 a partir de madera trabajado en su fábrica de noria ubicado en la calle. Fue la última casa construida como en el oeste de Dover y la posada primer invitado en el área de Mount Snow. El Inn tiene todavía mucho de la cera original frotó encasements cenizas y carpintería. Con los años se han añadido nuevas alas a la construcción original. Se encuentra la posada en el Registro Nacional de Lugares Históricos. La casa se convirtió en 1952 en la primera posada en el área de Mount Snow, al mismo tiempo que la original cuesta abajo senderos se han abierto. Muchas de las habitaciones decoradas de manera individual tienen su propia chimenea de leña y sala de estar. Todas las habitaciones tienen baño privado y TV por cable. El salón de la posada le invita a relajarse y disfrutar de las comodidades de la verdadera hospitalidad del sur de Vermont. Un desayuno completo del país y un té de la tarde se sirven diariamente. My friend and I needed a few days away for a little B&B. Very quiet time, peaceful. Very good food (plus tea & cookies) and very friendly and accommodating hosts. It was a very pleasurable stay.

We stayed there during the weekend of Hurricane0 Irene. They were very nice and helpful. They made a picnic lunch for us and recommended a great park for a hike. When the storm hit we got stuck there and they made food for us and let us stay an extra night for free. I definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I have been staying at the Inn for several years now. We are retired and are able to go every few weeks. It is by far the cleanest Inn we have stayed at. Breakfasts are wonderful, more than enough food to last you even beyond lunch. Rooms are comfy and cozy, can't say enough. Doreen and Rosemary are really wonderful and are very accommodating, can't wait for our next trip up.....The Hunt's

I went to Mt. snow in early Feb. for work and stayed at the Deerfield Valley Inn. I found my room to be an amazing peaceful get away at the end of a long, loud crazy work day. Breakfast was wonderful every day and the owners were very accommodating with our crazy schedule! Doreen and Maryann made me feel like I was home at the end of the day.

We have been staying at Deerfield Valley Inn for several years now and never had a problem of any sort. Doreen and Rosemary own and run the B & B they are wonderful, make you feel very comfortable . Breakfasts are excellent, blueberry pancakes are great plus their other choices. Very, Very clean just all around great. We feel like it is our second home. We are retired and go to their establishment every few weeks that is how much we like to stay there. Thanks ladies...Marie & George

The innkeepers were very friendly and responsive to our individual needs. The purpose of our trip was to ski at Mt. Snow. At the end of each ski day, it was a pleasure to return to our room which was cozy, clean, and had an in-room fireplace that we used each night. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Each morning, the innkeepers served made-to-order breakfasts that were well-balanced and of high quality. The overall atmosphere of the inn is quintessential New England. We plan to return next year. All-in-all, we had very pleasurable experience for excellent value.

I have stayed at the Deerfield Valley Inn a few times since 2000. I am always delighted that the innkeeper remembers me. Her Irish touch just adds to the ambiance of "escape" from the grind of New York. The prices are right, the breakfast is delightful and with tea and cookies in the afternoon you just can't go wrong here.
