Our stay was fine except for the bird that flew into our room through the chimney at 7:30 AM. Not too pleased about that.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kenmore very much. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Other than a creaky bed the room was comfortable.

My daughter and I stayed one evening on the way home from college. The rooms were exceptional! Clean, high ceilings and very comfortable bed. Wifi was easily assessable. A small decanter of port was a nice touch. Best part was location. Only two blocks from center of town and several restaurants. We would have eaten at the Inn, but their restaurant is closed Mondays. Pleasant but brief stay. We will be back!

My son and I had a very late arrival, and were disappointed to find that out room was not the one we had booked online. The innkeeper rectified the matter in record time, and upgraded us to two rooms for the price of one! The garden patio with its Italian fountain was the perfect spot for spending a few quiet moments with a good book. We would most definitely recommend the Kenmore Inn, and we look forward to staying there again, soon!!

When we got there it looked very nice and clean. We were shown our room. It was beautiful, I will say that. So we spent the main day traveling down town Fredericksburg. Went downstairs to eat ( there was only one others guest) but some how it took an hour to get our food and it wasn't great but it was pricey. So we went back to the room I enjoyed the spa tub, that was nice. My husband watched the very tiny TV in the sitting room. We finally decide to go to bed at about 1:30ish. It was the worst bed I have ever experienced in my life. Both me and my husband tossed and turned until 2:30am then decided to go to the quality inn which was the best sleep I have gotten in a very long time. The next morning as soon as the office opened I returned the key and informed the girl. She apologized and told me the supervisor would call to make it right. She never called. I wont be returning.

Great old inn with great grandeur ! My wife and I had dinner and breakfast and the food was different and superb. My wife has Celiac Disease and must eat gluten free and they were able to accommodate her very well. The chef even came to our breakfast table and talked to her about what she could prepare that would meet her needs. The patrons in their bar were quite noisy after closing at night but we tolerated that. Would definitely stay there again if in that area...

From the write up, I was expecting a more elegant, finished enterprise. While nice, it was not up to the expectations created with the notable exception of the the on site restaurant which was excellent.

Dinner at the Inn was great, however I found the breakfast mediocre.

The Kenmore was a convenient and comfortable place to stay for a weekend. The hostesses went out of their way to help answer questions and give us information about stores that might be open and their recommendations. Despite the frigid late January weather, the inn was quite warm and our bedroom was even on the hot side! We decided to eat dinner at the restaurant downstairs and had a delicious meal. The plates were appropriately portioned - visually on the small side but I was definitely full when we left. Breakfast was equally delicious. I especially enjoyed the French toast. The rooms were definitely not soundproof, but I slept comfortably and quietly at night. Overall it was a perfect stay and I look forward to visiting again.

The Inn is incredibly charming and the good is great but quite expensive for the whole package.
