"This was an amazing two night stay in Gold Beach. You are up in the hills and my husband and I and our dog stayed for two nights in Oct 2011. Dirk and Andrea are very down to earth people and greeted us with the best hospitality. Dirk was able to give us a hiking tour of the area - maybe an hour and a half - lots of knowledge to share of the ecosystem and the land. He even taught my husband how to roast his own coffee! Andrea is a pleasure and all of our needs were taken care of. The food provided was outstanding. we brought our staples but the stocked cottage was amazing and I would recommend this b&b to all who all looking for a stop on the coast. It is a bit of a 20 minute winding drive but it is WELL worth it! we will absolutely come back to Blu Cottage. Sherri and Scott and Barley - Victoria BC"
