"My husband and I stayed at the Tidewater for the first time for two nights in July. We could not have been more pleased with our discovery. The room was very spacious, appointed with everything we may have wished for: multiple seating opportunities, lighting to read with and watch TV by; a refrigerator pre-filled with soft drinks and water, A basket with snacks, a lovely basket with toiletries, and an extremely well prepared booklet on the inn's features, the town of Madison, things to do and so on. Did I mention the gorgeous four-poster king size bed? Breakfast was served in the combination living/dining room and each morning was different and delicious. Victoria is an excellent baker (try the almond scones or the raspberry cofee cake) and cook, There are magazines, books, and candy selections throughout the inn for all to enjoy. We are only sorry that we missed the complimentary wine and cheese on both days. We will be back. The Tidewater is a suberb example of what Bed and Breakfst should be."
