    "Elegancia de isla con la historia romántica". La elegante mansión de Grace, construido en 1905, cuenta con vidrieras exquisita, artesanía en madera exótica y antigüedades sorprendentes. Lujosas amenidades se mezclan perfectamente con gracia victoriana. Ricamente son designadas de las habitaciones, todas con camas king size. Se sirve un desayuno de gourmet completa con la luz de las velas y música suave. Situado en el distrito histórico del Galveston East End, la mansión está a poca distancia de la zona comercial de la ciudad/Strand, galerías de arte y antigüedades, restaurantes y entretenimiento. Considerado uno de las principales estructuras arquitectónicas en la isla, Grace Manor es el escenario perfecto para esa ocasión especial.

    We have stayed with Barb about 5 times, it is always our first choice, but she is booked up many times when we have called. You will never be disappointed with your stay in the lovely home with a most gracious hostess that goes the extra mile to make your visit a wonderful experience. We are on our way there for 2-3 days during the Tour of Historic Homes the first two weekends in May 2013.

    Top of my list!

    I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over many years of travelling throughout the U.S. and Europe. Grace Manor is at the top of my list of recommendations. I have found that no matter how much research is done, you can still find yourself in a B&B that doesn't live up to your expectations given the reviews and descriptions on various travel sites. NOT THIS ONE! It really surpassed my expectations. Please read all of the reviews and know that there is not one traveller review that is not right on. I won't repeat all of the surperlatives except to reinforce the comments that Barb is an excellent host (and cook!!!) who seems to be in her natural environment running an historic Bed and Breakfast and interacting with her guests. You cannot go wrong spending time here, no matter how high your pre-conceived expectations are.

    Grace Manor is a beautiful, elegant home that feels comfortable and cozy the minute you walk in. Will never want to stay in a regular hotel room again. Delightful breakfast every morning and great coffee and cookies. Perfect location. Stayed in Palm Island room and the private veranda was my favorite spot. Thank you Barb, for sharing this lovely home. We're home now and miss it already. The Hutchinsons, West Columbia, TX

    What an elegant place to stay. And the smell of bacon was our alarm clock. I'm sharing this B&B with everyone I know.

    Upon arrival my husband and I both completely fell in love with this wonderful B&B! It is an amazing place, full of incredible furniture and art! We felt a beautiful calmness and sense of peace at Grace Manor, unlike anywhere else we've ever stayed. Barb was absolutely amazing! She took the time to talk with us about the history of the Manor and we really appreciated that. PLUS, she is an amazing chef! Every morning we were treated to an incredible three course breakfast......sooo delicious! We will most definitely be returning to this wonderful place, and will be bringing friends, too!

    Elegance on the Island

    This was my second stay with Barb at her lovely home. The furnishings are in perfect sync with the elegant decor of the home which has all the original elements: ornamental plaster trim, mahogany wood molding, dazzling stained glass, parquet floors and dreamy balconies. But Barb puts her guests at perfect ease and helps them feel at home. The breakfast is delicious and she has many options to pick from from including fresh fruit, hot entrees and even dessert. The home fared well in the storm and there is no noticeable damage. She is replanting her lush gardens. Can't wait to go back.
