The Quarters at Hardin House

The accommodations at The Quarters at Hardin House were wonderful. The rooms were large and nicely furnished. The house was huge and had plenty of areas to relax and unwind. A full workout room also was w ell equipped. The snacks that were readily available were unexpected and the breakfast buffer was delicious. This was a great location for visiting the UT campus. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved my stay at the Quarters Hardin House. It was most peaceful and in the most ideal location for campus. I wish it were open year round so that I could stay there when visiting my children who all attend UT. There was a beautiful spread of complimentary breakfast foods. Also nut bread and ice cream in the kitchen freezer for all who wished to partake. The staff is lovely. A beautiful, peaceful retreat. Everything is in walking distance.

Pleasant, welcoming accommodation close to the UT campus

Had a wonderful time considering it just happened to be graduation weekend at UT. The location was great, within walking distance to the campus, state museum and even the state capital itself. Very peaceful setting never knew you were so close to the campus and a lot of activities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and snacks. The room was simple in decor, but adequate with a nice comfy bed and a very large walk in closet. The site also had ample space for parking . Looking forward to staying there again.

Perfect location, only minutes from downtown, yet quiet and with free parking. Very clean, good service and even includes breakfast. Hard to beat value-for-money!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hardin House. The women who ran it were courteous and very helpful. The B&B has a very relaxed, quiet atmosphere. The breakfasts were enjoyable and complementary "midnight snacks" of ice cream were encouraged. The rooms were nothing particular nice, but were clean and reasonable for the price. Overall, I'd give The Quarters at Hardin House 4 stars.

Making a last minute search for accommodations on a holiday weekend, I wasnt expecting to find much available. Small miracles happen! And this was one of them. Two blocks from campus - and a brisk but doable walk from downtown - we actually ended up close to the river in about 30 minutes. Modestly appointed, after all, they ARE dorm rooms, but tidy, clean, and quiet. Well, mostly - the 7:30 a.m. vacuum cleaners on the other side of the wall on a Saturday morning we could do without. We selected a room with a king bed and a private rather than a shared bathroom, it had a huge walk-in closet and a small fridge, lots of towels and the usual basket of odd toiletries.and still the price was incredibly low relative to the other B&B's I looked at online. Highly recommend for people who don't need all the bells and whistles of hotels down on the river but still want to be close to the University/downtown/ capitol area.

My stay at the Quarters was perfect for UT Orientation. It is within walking distance of all activities, and the breakfast was great! The staff is so very helpful and even woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me that they discovered that I had left the lights on my vehicle. There is no registration for your parking so it must have taken time to track down whose truck it actually was! That is over and above outstanding service!!

The Quarters at Hardin House is a great place to stay during your child's UT Orientation. It's very clean and cozy, the PERFECT location and it also comes with a parking spot!!

Hardin House is within three blocks of UT - a good place to stay when visiting. Parking was easy and on the property. Breakfast was more than adequate. It was quiet and clean - staff were very helpful.

You'd never know it is normally a dormitory. The rooms were not fancy but very comfortable and clean. The common kitchen and sitting areas were well maintained. Free internet and exercise facility were an unexpected bonus. And best of all, the staff were super pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. I'd definitely stay again. Vanessa

Just what we were looking for! Comfortable, unique, close to everything we wanted to do in the downtown Austin area. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable and the common living areas are quite nice. Good breakfast! Very convenient parking. Will definitely stay here again when we're in Austin.

The Quarters was a very nice place to stay, convienient to the campus and many restaurants in Austin. The staff at the Quarters was very helpful and friendly. A great place to stay and I enjoyed visiting with other guests....a nice atmosphere. I will return.
