Iron Mountain Inn B&B and Vacation Rentals

Vikki Woods was just wonderful. She is such a warm and welcoming, and down to earth person. The food was delicious, the facility clean, and she was most helpful with tips for things to do and local shortcuts to places in the area. Would visit again!!

Every year my husband and I stay at a NC B&B for our anniversary, so this was the first time we crossed state lines for a getaway in the Tennessee Mountains. Needless to say our choice to stay at the Iron Mountain Inn did not disappoint. The owner, Vikki, made sure we felt right at home in her inn, which was large, comfortable and commanded an amazing outdoor view. The meals were delightful, and she even found time to sit down and get to know her guests. The inn's location was also within easy driving distance of many sides and small towns, which was an added bonus. As we were able to get out & explore during the day.

If you are looking for a place to get away relax or explore and adventure, this is the place. Just be sure to be ready to let it go!

So close to the stars, what a view. The suites are beautiful and comfortable beds. Luxurious bathrooms. Beautiful gardens. Walking trail, great food.

The inn exceeded the expectations we had for our first anniversary! Vicky was so hospitable and friendly! Better than any 5-star hotel! The breakfasts were fabulous!

We enjoyed our stay at the iron mountain inn, imensely. Not only to the location,view but to the inn keeper Vikki Woods. She was just delightful and her B&B has the perfect location to enjoy the woods.

My wife and I never tire of the view from the Inn and can (and often do) spend all day lounging on the Inn's fabulous decks and porches. We live near the Gatlinburg area and this is where we go to get away.

I was sorry to hear that all was not perfect during this guest's 3 day stay! The tub in the room has hairline black marks which we have not been able to get out - have tried bleach, zud, comet, etc. and still they are there looking like hairs. However, if there were hairs, I do wish they had told us so that we could have brought the room up to our stringent standards. We always appreciate it when guests bring something "not right" to our attention so that we can correct the problem immediately.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at the Iron Mountain Inn. The Inn, views and Vikki (the Innkeeper) were wonderful. Vikki made breakfast that was unbelievable. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Vikki provided great breakfast, nice rooms, and drove car to hiking drop-off location for us!

A great place to a nice long weekend. I will be back in fall.

We didnt even stay at the Iron Mountain Inn. We stayed at another location in Mountain City but after a horse ride thru the woods on the Iron Mountain property, we went up to the lodge to check it out. We have been to many B&B's and let me tell you that for a mountain view and relaxation, you wont find a better place to be than at Iron Mountain. The rooms are wonderfull and the hostess is something to behold. Lets certainly not forget the bottomless cookie jar !!!!

Vikki was wonderful. I felt extremely comfortable. Excellent food & hospitality.

The inn's location atop a mountain and surrounded by mountain views and woods was very peaceful. Also, the inn is near both North Carolina and Virginia so you can see a lot of attractions without having to drive too far. Our room (Blue Room at the back of the Inn) overlooked a garden with a nice water feature and was very comfortable. Breakfast food was varied, interesting, and above all, GREAT! We appreciated the fact that there was always some kind of meat included. The innkeeper was attentive and focused on her guests' needs and comfort but without being intrusive. We only stayed 3 nights but came away feeling as relaxed and refreshed as if we'd stayed a much longer time.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Iron Mountain Inn. The setting was wonderful and secluded, the rooms were well appointed with luxurious bathrooms. Breakfasts were tasty and filling (we skipped lunch one day!). Vikki, the innkeeper, was welcoming and friendly, and volunteered to make reservations for us for dinner at a local restaurant. Best of all, all of this wonderful scenery and seclusion was only a half hour's drive away from the Barter Theater and the Virginia Creeper Trail in Virginia.

It was a great stay, with fabulous accomendations and spectacular views. Awesome hospitalityand great chit-chat.

My wife and I decided to extend our honeymoon and this inn was the perfect spot for a getaway.

Vikki is an incredible hostess and the tranquility and peacefulness of the inn was just what I needed. Do you want to get away from it all and unwind? This is the place. I didn't want to leave.
