"True southern hospitality best describes our experience at Port City Guest House. The owner, Sophie, takes great care in making sure you're well fed and accommodated. If you love breakfast, this is the place to stay. From the homemade (from scratch) waffles with fresh blueberry syrup to eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, fresh fruit and OJ/Coffee, you won't need to eat again until dinner. You'll seriously cut down on your dining out expenses while visiting Wilmington if you stay here. Our room (Colonial) was nicely decorated and comfortable, and we had our own bathroom (down the hall). At the end of our last night there, we grabbed a glass of wine and hung out on the front porch listening to the rain and watching the cars pass by - so relaxing. We'll definitely be back!
