    Posada en Somo, "Mies de Villa" es una cama bellamente restaurado y desayuno (posada) en zonas rurales de Somo, cerca de la ciudad costera de Santander, Norte de España. Esta región cuenta con algunas de las playas más bellas de Europa, pintorescos campos de golf y muchos centros de actividad al aire libre que corren expediciones y clases en quads, surf, piragüismo y submarinismo. En el invierno la cordillera cercana ofrece raquetas de esquí, el snowboard y la nieve, y la región costera de montaña es ideal para los motoristas y ciclistas en busca de rutas pacífica, escénico. Conocido como "España Verde", esta zona es frecuentemente ignorada por los turistas extranjeros que se dirigen a las playas atestadas estrecha de la Costa del Sol y Benidorm. Sin embargo, esta parte de España se ve favorecida por los turistas españoles, que prefieren viajar aquí por el clima de las regiones frescas, un carácter tradicional y playas increíbles. Posada Mies de Villa, en la localidad de Somo, es el destino perfecto durante todo el año.

    wonderful BB in Somo

    A wonderful BB in wonderful North Spain. Posada Mies the Villa was an excellent choice, good location and lovely people. The room were clean, not too small, view into the nature and well decorated. Breakfast was served on the veranda, continental choice. Guest from diferent countrys, like the hosts, open minded and frindly. On our next stay in Santander we will book this BB again, especially because of the special atmosphere in middle of nature.

    fantastic b&b in north spain

    We visited this guest house in September 09 and found it a wonderful get-away location in a rural and tourist-free area of Spain. The weather was still warm and the beaches clean, vast and beautiful scenery. Santander is great for tapas and shopping and there are loads of activities to do in the region, from surfing to cycling. Definitely worth a visit during your trip to Europe!

    Great place for surfers, beach lovers and golfers

    I found this gorgeous B&B 5 minutes from the beach, in North Spain close to Santander. The village is fantastic for beaches and the golf courses are good too. Ideal for a cheap weekend (or week) away, and the family who own Mies de Villa are a very friendly English- speaking family who can't do enough for you. Highly recommendable.

    North Spain - the perfect holiday destination

    We believe this part of Spain is so beautiful it is kept secret from the English by the Spanierds! Mies de Villa is a lovely guest house located in a beautiful seaside town called Somo, 20 minutes outside Santander. Mies de Villa is less than 1 kilometre from some of the most beautiful rural beaches I have ever seen. The rooms have exceptionally beautiful exposed stone brickwork and wooden beams, the room we were in had a balcony overlooking the pleasant garden where you can sit and have coffee. The proprietor has a museum of ancient Spanish agricultural artefacts which is interesting to look around, and the breakfasts of toast, coffee and homemade jams was superb (the proprietess is originally from Yorkshire). This guest house is one of the most established in the village and highly recommendable. They have a new English webiste - www.miesdevilla.com

    • El aeropuerto de Santander está a aproximadamente 18 km, tomar la autopista hacia Bilbao, justo después del segundo túnel, tome la salida 7 (Pontejos, Pedreña, Somo). Mantenerse en ese camino, después de cruzar Pedreña se encuentra el puente, gire a la derecha de inflexión después del puente (que es una colina, con las luces de tráfico) se verá un mensaje firmado azul se sigue que estamos 400 metros de allí.
