"MY husband and I recently had the lovely experience of spending four nights at The Mt Vernon Bed and Breakfast in Washington DC. Keith, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful as well as a terrific breakfastchef; he truly gave us the feeling of being guests in his home and what a beautiful home it is, with magnificent stained glass and an interesting decor. Rooms are large and we even had a double jacuzzi and a comfortable king size bed. The location of the inn couldn't be more convenient; we expected to be using the metro and cabs but found that we were easily able to get to all of the sights on foot. Good dining options were readily available and Keith made wonderful suggestions. There is also parking available for a small additional fee. My husband and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else the next time we visit DC. "
