We had a wonderful time at the Lodge at Sedona. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The lodge itself is lovely and very comfortable. Service overall was excellent except for one staff member who was not very helpful or friendly. But her poor customer service was outweighed by the wonderful service we got from the office staff upon our arrival. Definitely a great place to stay when you are in amazing Sedona!
After a long 19+ hour road trip, upon our arrival to Canyon VIlla, we were kindly greeted by Les. He showed us around and kindly offered to carry our luggage to the second floor. In the morning, we had a most delightful breakfast where the chef's catered to all of my husband's dietary restrictions. I wish we could have stayed longer. The atmosphere was wonderful and the bed and breakfast itself was beautiful. We have recommended this place to all our friends!!
Our trip to Sedona was absolutely perfect thanks to Les & Peg. Everything from their hospitality, the rooms, the views and breakfast was spectacular! The view from our room and the pool area was absolutely unbelievable. They were a huge help in guiding us to the best sightseeing throughout the area and their recommendation of Mike as our hiking guide was spot on! We will surely be back soon! We just cannot say enough about our stay at the Canyon Villa B&B! Bob & Rebbie
Dennis & Jodi were great host, they were temp host as the owners were on vacation, never less the accommodations and grounds were picturesque, quiet and peaceful. Creekside is located in a central part of Sedona, you do not have to go far in any direction for sightseeing and shopping.
We decided to getaway for the weekend with our pups and in my research for place that accept dogs (we have a mastiff and a boxer/mastiff mix), I found El Portal. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival the staff was super friendly and we fell in love with the courtyard. Our room was amazing, the beds were really comfortable, we have never slept that well in a hotel before. The dogs received a little basket full of treats and blankets. They had a nice area for the dogs to do their business and you would never know that dogs were ever there from the cleanliness of the rooms to the grounds of the hotel. Also we were in the Juniper room #8, on the corner near the entrance and it was quiet, which we were a little worried about at first but we never heard a sound. There are so many great things I could say about this place and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway or a great place to stay with your pets!
The inn is wonderful! Beautifully decorated but cozy to make it feel like home. Terri & Anne were always there to help w any questions & make arrangements for excursions. Breakfast is so yummy & a keurig to make your own coffee b4 they open :)
This inn was fabulous. The staff was very helpful in figuring out itineraries for us The breakfasts were delicious. Rooms had all amenities. Big bathroom. Pool right outside room. Hiking close by. Highly recommend
Personable staff, honor system for beverages after-hours, honor system for large lending library of DVDs. Super pet friendly, great accommodations. Locations is ideal - very centrally located.
Stayed two nights with my girlfriend for our anniversary. No complaints whatsoever. The staff was ver polite, the owner was friendly, the breakfast on the morning was amazing. I stayed in room #9 Rim View. Wonderful views from the back windows. It rained the first night which made it almost like our own personal log cabin. This place wasn't like any other hotel I've stayed at. It's almost like your staying at someone's house and your renting a room (hence the B&B lol). The outside patio is gorgeous. Plants, trees, vines. At night they burn juniper logs. I can't put into words the smell. I will never forget it. The whole are over at Tlaquepaque is just gorgeous. This is the ONLY place I will stay in Sedona from now on. I can't wait to go back. Valentine's Day maybe?? ;)
I bought a gift certificate to El Portal for my husband, who travels often, because they allowed dogs and our Maggie girl really misses him when he's gone. El Portal was more than we even expected. They welcomed Maggie with attention and she really warmed up to them; which can be difficult since she is a rescue that experienced some grief in her former life. The hotel is quiet, beautiful and very comfortable. The restaurant served amazing breakfasts and offered snacks to guests in the afternoon. Our room (the Grand Canyon room) was huge, very beautiful and had a wonderful outside patio area we could share with Maggie. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will certainly come back again. This is the perfect place for a getaway!
When we drove into the neighborhood where Desert Rose is located, we thought we had made a mistake. It's on the outskirts of Cottonwood and surrounded by less than luxurious homes on acre-plus rural lots. Upon turning at the flags marking the driveway of Desert Rose, however, we found a wonderful little oasis with chickens, llamas and various fruit trees. Rooms were spacious, there was a large collection of DVDs, and Sebastian and Betty could not have been betters hosts. Breakfasts consisted of fresh eggs from their own chickens, homemade preserves from the various fruit trees, and other organic and healthy fare.
We stayed at the Baby Quail Inn expecting a Bed and Breakfast experience but felt it is was more of a nice, small mom-and-pop type motel. The location is very good, the grounds are lovely and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and very nice. What was conspicuously missing was anything like the usual Breakfast portion of the Bed and Breakfast experience. The cold cereals and cellophane wrapped pastries just didn't match what our other B & B's offered.
It was our first time in Sedona, and I believe that El Portal made our experience complete. Beautiful charming place. The people that work there are truly friendly and the owner is super nice. The lady at the registration treated us like we were friends and was so helpful and gave great advise. Thought it was a little expensive but once we got there was totally worth it! Highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway.
My husband and I spent a week at El Portal. The location was perfect. Walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Short driving distance to all major hiking venues. The property is peaceful and serene. Although we didn't travel with a dog, we enjoyed meeting the other guests and their pets.
My wife and I stayed at the lodge over the weekend and stayed at the Lodge at Sedona. We went up to Sedona for the Illuminate Film festival, which the Lodge was the main host/hub for the event. We were able to partake in the party, festivities and activities held there. The Lodge is not your typical B&B, It is much better. No where with all my travels have I been created kindly and staff always available to help. The food was great, I was able to have a couple fresh juices that they make for their wellness program as well as try some soup. The soup and juice was all organic - awesome!!!!! All the guests staying were so wonderful to speak with. Many of them were the producers of the movies. - WOW. I do not think that I ever meet anyone that produced a movie besides maybe a home video. We were right in the action of the whole event. Thanks to the Lodge and the festival for a great event. I will be back next year.
My husband ad I were looking or a vacation spot that would not only give me a vacation away from the typical busy life, but also one that we can focus on or health and longevity. We came upon the Lodge and the wellness program that they offer. We wanted a place that was quiet, unique and peaceful. We were glad that al of the food for the wellness meals were ALL ORGANIC. This was a great surprise, as may places do not have all organic meals and juices. We took advantage of the massage therapy and getting a couples massage in our rooms, as well as attending a few yoga classes. I Sedona we were able to get out or a hike or two and went to the river up the canyon. The room we had was prairie ranch, and was a little room with a nice bathroom and bathtub. Every morning my husband and I would wake up early and spend some quiet time walking the labyrinth. Our stay was so relaxing and started to feel ourselves getting reconnected that we decided to stay for another week. By the time we let, we felt renewed and regenerated, to get back to our regular lives with more healthier start.
A quite peaceful retreat but in the heart of Sedona. Walking distance to fine dining and shops. The entire staff excells at making your stay perfect as their knowledge of the area and connections to whatever suits your fancy is possible. Can't wait to return to this pet friendly oasis! Thanks to you all who made our stay one of the best anywhere we have traveled.
