    Bay House Hotel has the most amazing scenery looking out to the Firth of Clyde & Bishops Glen. We are is situated on the quiet traffic free West Bay Promenade just a few steps away from Dunoon town centre ferry & local amenities. The hotel features 6 well presented rooms in various sizes. Of our 6 rooms 3 have sea views. Our large spacious double/family room and the double room are en-suite with our single room providing a shower and wash hand basin but with separate private toilet. A further large double/family room and 2 twin rooms all en-suite complete the accommodation. All our rooms have freeview colour TV tea & coffee making facilities & hairdryers. The very tastefully decorated sea view guest lounge has a splendid high ceiling with decorative mouldings. The views are never the same or boring Arran Bute & Ailsa Craig can be seen in the distance. A variety of books are available to read & board games to play. Our dining room on the ground floor enjoys the same wonderful panoramic views of West Bay. A variety of birds & sea life can be seen ships submarines & ocean liners are regular passing in view. The Hotel is an ideal base for touring the Cowal Peninsula and surrounding areas. The locality boasts some of the finest scenery in Scotland with ample opportunities for walking cycling golf bowls and sightseeing. The Lochs provide more amazing sights with the mountains providing the striking backdrop. Benmore gardens and Puck's Glen give wonderful local walks and the most amazing views over the hills and Estuary. A drive around the Peninsula takes a lot of beating with the scenery looking down onto the Kyles of Bute the views are breathtaking. If you fancy a shopping trip Glasgow is only a short distance away take a ride on a ferry and train straight into Glasgow. A bus takes you to Greenock Braehead shopping centre or on to Glasgow bus station in the city centre. If you don't fancy shopping Glasgow architecture is amazing.

      Sandbank|Road|5|Take the left turn for Dunoon follow the coast road through Kirn to Dunoon town centre. At the 2nd small roundabout turn left follow the road round the front at McColls Hotel indicate left turn immediately down Park Avenue over the cross roads turn right and we are the 4th hotel along. The McGill's bus number 907 runs from Glasgow bus station via Western ferry (you don't have to get off) to Dunoon. A train from Glasgow to Gourock then the Argyll ferry we are walking distance away.;
