"My family stayed at The Ashland Royal Carter House in september while we attended the Shakespear Festival. It was wonderful! The innskeeper, Lloyd, was more that willing to share history about the house and show the kids all the incredible music boxes collected over the years - they are truly incredible! Our room was very comfortable, able to accomodate 5 without difficulty. The house was an easy walk to the plays and restaurants and the the best part was ability to choose what you wanted for breakfast and have it delivered in some very convenient baskets to your room each morning! So much easier than trying to get three finicky eaters down to a sit down breakfast by 8am every morning! We will definately be back to this great bed and breakfast! "
