Hot Spiced Cider: Beverage

Ingredients:

• 

  2 quart Apple Cider

• 

  1/4 cup brown sugar

• 

  1/2 teaspoon whole allspice

• 

  1 teaspoon whole cloves

• 

  1 cinnamon stick

• 

  1/4 teaspoon salt

• 

  1 pinch gound nutmeg

• 

  1 large orange, quartered with peel

Step 1:

Prepare cider using a large automatic coffee maker. Substitute the cider for the water. Place brown sugar, spices, salt, and orange wedges in coffee basket with filter and brew. Serve hot.

Step 2:

Serve hot with your favorite shortbread cookies.
