Fresh Apple Cake: Dessert

Ingredients:

• 

  2 cups Sugar

• 

  1/2 cups Shortening

• 

  2 Eggs

• 

  3 Large Apples (peeled and chopped)

• 

  1 teaspoon Baking Soda

• 

  1 teaspoon Cinnamon

• 

  1 teaspoon Nutmeg

• 

  1 teaspoon Salt

• 

  1 cup Chopped Pecans

• 

  2 cups Plain Flour

Step 1:

With an electric mixer cream togather Sugar & Shortening, add Eggs and mix well, then add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Step 2:

Pour batter into a well greased 9x13 pan. Bake @ 350 for 45 min.

Step 3:

Topping: In a sauce pan combine 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup cream, and 1/2 cup butter. Boil for 1 min and pour over top of cake.
