The Captain Wohlt Inn

These are two of the first large brick homes built in Hermann and were completed in 1840. Their style is German Venacular architecture. The building on the left,the Peters House, now has two very large suites that are family/baby friendly and the suite on the top floor, Poeschel has its own quaint baby room with crib. The building on the right was built by Mr. Poeschel who was the founder of Stone Hill Winery. The first floor of this building features one of our two luxary suites, the Sammons suite. This suite is very spacious and features a two person Jacuzzi.
