Mornings, the tables are set with linens and fine china in the Breakfast Room overlooking the magical Greenwood Cove and St. Anthony's Point and spectacular caves. Thanksgiving Coffee, gourmet teas, and fruit juices accompany Curtis's wonderful home-made muffins followed by a fresh fruit compote and a hearty gourmet breakfast. The view is unforgettable and the frequent comment of our visitors is that it is "magical." Every once in awhile a Whale will be seen just off the rocks outside the Bay. The rabbits and butterflies, hummingbirds and deer all call Sandpiper "home." The red camellia bushes and our queen of White rhododendrums bear beautiful blooms in the spring..another one of the most beautiful sights on the Coast.The Sandpiper House Inn is known as the most intimate, romantic inn on the Mendocino Coast, possibly the entire California Coast.
