Sandpiper House Inn

Beautiful Elk Beach is just a short walk from the Sandpiper House Inn. The sandy beach is pristine and one reminisces back to earlier times when the town of Elk was once a thriving lumber town and many redwood logs left this harbor for San Francisco to rebuild the City. Kayaks are available at the local shop and you can hire an experienced mariner to guide you through the many caves in Greenwood Cove. If you throw a fishing line into the sea you may also be very lucky. Some of our experienced divers say the abalone here is second to none.
