We found this B&B at the last minute for our anniversary. Champagne & chocolate covered strawberries were waiting for us after a day of sightseeing. What a pleasant surprise! Linda has thought of everything. The house is beautiful, clean & inviting. The breakfast table setting was lovely & the food delicious. We're planning to return right now!

My wife and I have a thirteen year tradition where we go away every October with our closest friends in search of wineries, state parks, history, culture and of course, a lovely B&B to stay in. This year, we stayed at the Northview Inn, and we all agreed that this was the very best B&B of them all. Linda and Jeff are very gracious hosts, and their attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. The home itself is beautiful and warm. The bedding and towels were exceptional. The rooms, grounds and house were immaculate. We actually skipped desert after dinners to save room for Linda's delicious baked goods that awaited us upon our return every evening. The breakfasts were of the charts....fresh fruit, homemade scones, meats, quiches, pancakes...you name it....the portions were HUGE. Linda truly Rocks! I highly recommend the Northview Inn Bed and Breakfast.

WOW!!! Where do we begin? First I have to say the inn was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, every detail was thought of, from homemade cookies to chocolates in your room. The breakfasts were a spectacular feast that kept us full all day, beyond delicious and such HUGE proportions. The pool and jacuzzi were spotless and so relaxing, it was so very private, and again everything was thought of including a fridge by the pool filled with a variety of cold beverages. But, the BIGGEST and most wonderful thing was how Jeff and Linda treated us when the unexpected happened. We were on our way to a fun evening in Ligonier when a "bambi" decided to come through our windshield, there was blood on me and broken glass everywhere. As soon as we pulled in, the innkeepers went into action, first making sure we were ok and then Jeff got on the phone trying to find us a windshield,while my husband was on his phone with the insurance company. In the meantime, Linda was offering some soothing talk to calm my nerves. Then, they got out the shop vac and a roll of "sticky material" to clean the van and hold part of the windshield in. But, the most unexpected conversation happened, they offered us their personal vehicle to go to Ligonier. UNBELIEVABLE, we were complete strangers and to even suggest such a thing is such a statement of there character and BIG HEARTS! We have stayed at ALLOT of B&B's but this one and the innkeepers far surpassed any we've been to.

My husband and I have been to many Bed and Breakfasts and we both agreed that the Northview Inn Bed and Breakfast has been number one to date. In a word, it was perfection. Beautiful rooms with a candlelit delicious breakfast... the entire experience was elegant from beginning to end. Our hostess, Linda, was gracious and did everything she could to make our stay so special. We are looking forward to returning to Northview for another wonderful escape to the Laurel Highlands area. Everything was exceptional/extraordinary--from the absolute beauty and phenomenal loving care and attention to detail given to this period true Victorian inn to the outstanding and extremely personalized service we received. Although we were 1st time guests, we were treated as honored friends of the manor. And the dining--gourmet! yet distinctly individualized and comfortable. What a delightful visit to a past era of charming grace and elegance. Linda and Jeff were hosts extraordinaire--and our visit will be one not only to remember--but to look forward to repeating. From the exceptional hospitality to the outstanding breakfast, the Northview Inn is a true gem. The grounds are beautiful and the pool so clean and refreshing after a long drive. Jeff and Linda made sure we had everything we needed at every moment. The rooms are large, clean, and the bed so very comfortable with fantastic linens. A perfect get-away from Pittsburgh, or a wonderful stop when traveling through Southwestern PA, you won't be disappointed.

this past weekend, my soon to be fiance and i had the pleasure of staying at the northview and found the place to be absolutely wonderful....the grounds were manicured and anyone could see the time, effort and care that went into making this the "step back into time" experience it was inside the building....we were lucky enough to be able to see all the rooms, each with its own personality, not like the motels we have stayed in previously....the bed we slept in was comfort beyond belief and the view from the oversized windows was magnificent....from the moment you drove up the driveway and into the parking area, you knew this was a place for relaxation, off the beaten path, where your mind could wander back to the simpler days where sitting on the porch was the thing to do....but, for as much as the rooms were laden with antique furniture, the hosts incorporated tastefully, todays modern conveniences (tv,clock,hairdryer).....and the food, every bit as wonderful as the place itself, with the hosts, jeff and linda, proudly admitting they themselves prepared it....although the pool was not yet open, jeff explained to me they had just renovated the pool area and it was soon to open....all in all, the stay at the northview was exquisite and i know we will be back again......

This inn is resplendent! Jeff & Linda are gracious, excellent hosts. The rooms are gorgeous and the living room with its fireplace and comfy surroundings was just the perfect place to sit and have a complimentary glass (or 2) of port wine and read a good book (you just have to read "Pioneer Woman"- funny and warm). I didn't want to leave! If you want warmth and luxury and absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS breakfasts, this is where you want to be.
