Nuestro nuevo hotel es un espectacular 6000 m2 ft.log hogar. Todos los que se ha visto raves acerca de él. We had a great time, stayed only one night . Maggie and Jerry were the best hosts! The breakfast was awesome and never ending, loved our room and the views.

Pictures do not lie. This exquisite log sanctuary is stunning. Hosts are friendly and helpful regarding area interests. Construction details fascinating, décor beautiful, tasteful and authentic. Food was beautifully presented, tasty and plentiful. We hope to return one day!

The Sandy Salmon Bed & Breakfast Lodge was very beautiful both inside and out, especially while we were there during the Christmas season. The owners were super friendly. Our room was large, clean, and new. The breakfast was scrumptious! I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast!

The hosts and the lodge are a Northwest gem. The moment you arrive Jerry and Maggie Emmert open their home to you and you instantly feel like family. Maggie's attention to detail in the home decor is amazing. Her extensive experience as a florist shows in every floral arrangement; quite beautiful. Jerry is an accomplished hunter and his trophies abound. Pelts to full mounts; every animal has been given a place in this home graced by nature. The koi pond in the foyer, the massive stone and wood fire place in the living room with the view of the Sandy and Salmon Rivers colliding bring the outdoors inside with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are immaculate. You would think that the house was just built. If cleanliness is next to Godliness; then your visit to The Sandy Salmon Bed and Breakfast Lodge will be Heaven. Breakfast is a real treat. You have breakfast with Jerry and Maggie themselves. Maggie works her magic in the kitchen and makes it all look effortless. Jerry is an interesting gentleman, as I found out because I asked after breakfast one morning. He actually has all his trophy hunts documented! He has a fascinating Musk Ox hunt story; pictures too. We stayed two nights and I had to drag my wife out of the Emmert's wonderful log home on the day we left. If not for Monday approaching, we might have stayed another night. Thank you Jerry and Maggie for a glorious stay.

Para aquellos interesados en la historia de Oregon es un ajuste natural. En 1845, Samuel K. Barlow había marcado un sendero desde The Dalles a la ciudad de Oregon, evitando así los peligrosos rápidos del río Columbia, el último tramo de la ruta de Oregón. Para los tres primeros años de su existencia, el camino de Barlow corrió alrededor de un cuarto de milla al norte de la logia. Ahora se llama el camino de la ruta de Barlow. Su ubicación actual es esencialmente el presente Mount Hood Loop Highway 26. Se trata de la mayor sala de invitado en el lodge, nuestra suite nupcial / ejecutivo y principal. Cuenta con una cama de dosel de king size de madera de álamos angustia. Diseñadores de luces en cada stand de noche y un candelabro coincidente más felicitar a la sala. La sala obtiene su nombre de un fabuloso mano tallada madera águila, (tallado por un artesano local prominente) justo fuera de la puerta, sentado encima el puesto de newell de escalera. Durante la temporada de otoño, águilas pueden verse desde la habitación de la pesca de salmón en los ríos. Sandy Salmon would be the most wonderfully crafted home I have ever seen - with fantastic use of timber and glass, that takes advantage of the wonderful views of the Sandy and Salmon rivers and the mountains, and finished to an extremely high standard. Our hosts really went out of their way to make us comfortable and make us feel part of their family. On arrival, they served us the most delicious freshly made Danishes I had ever eaten. And the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Maggie is an incredible cook. Jerry is extremely helpful with local knowledge and suggestions. Our stay wasn't long enough, and we would love to return. Not only for the fabulous hospitality, but also for all the places we didn't have time to see.

We stayed two nights in early Oct. Jerry and Maggie are great and this lodge is amazing. The amenities of the rooms are fantastic and the common areas are really comfy. Our single room felt small because of the large-scale furniture and the cost per night, but was still amazing. Our view of the rivers was spectacular to wake up to. I can't complain other than the price was higher than I would have liked, but comparable for places in the area, with a more amazing home. I don't have any adjectives left, but I would definitely recommend staying here if you're a couple or a family that can afford to rent out the whole place.

What we thought would be a rustic cabin turned out to be a luxurious B&B. What a magnificent building with incredible views and the sound of rushing water from the Sandy and Salmon Rivers just below. Wish we would have been able to stay more than one night!
