We stayed in the Hemingway and absolutely loved it. We felt at home due to the service and friendly individuals that were at the Landmark Inn. If we venture to Cooperstown again, there is no doubt that we would stay at the Landmark Inn again. The bed was cozy, the room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We also found that the location was perfect! The Landmark Inn is so close to the restaurants, shops, and The Baseball Hall of Fame. We stayed during November (the off season) and it was beautiful!

For my husbands birthday weekend he wanted to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We have never been to a Bed and Breakfast but wanted to experience this also. Checked out a few online and decided on the Landmark Inn. Was not disappointed. The Inn was beautiful and well kept. The Innskeepers were very nice and helpful with in town info. The Hall of Fame was just a road over which was great. The Inn included a gourmet breakfast. No selection but was good if you like the fancy stuff. Each room had their own table which was nice. Not much common area but room was beautifully decorated. Loved it. We stayed in the Cooper Room. Quaint, Only has a shower. One website shows all rooms refurbished with refrigerators and baths. Not true. Room didn't have either. Loved the Inn. Would definitely recommend and someday go back!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Landmark Inn and were not disappointed! All the staff were truly accommodating during our stay. The food was amazing... the spinach omelet and salads were absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to go back again in December 2015!!!

Cooperstown and The Landmark Inn were great - our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The property is beautifully maintained and in a very good position. The breakfast was excellent as was the room - only regret is that I didnt buy one of their robes! A great place to stay.

I would strongly recommend the Landmark to anyone visiting Cooperstown. It is one of friendliest and lovely B&B's in which my wife and I have stayed and we are veteran travelers. The short walk down Chestnut Street to downtown is a plus, but I'd still stay at the Landmark if it were 4 blocks farther out! Book early.

Loved the whole B&B and Cooperstown experience....... the historic building beautiful, breakfast delicious and creative, the town full of wonderful surprises, and of course the Hall of Fame Museum so interesting and memorable. Our only complaint was about the bed in our room - very uncomfortable. Other than that our mini vacation in Cooperstown was wonderful!

First our first B&B stay my husband said I batted 1000. That says it all considering we were in Cooperstown, NY.
Casey’s Room is sun-filled by its large windows. This fabulously upgraded room with brass queen bed is decorated in warm sage and blue and complemented by leather and print accents. Features include a magnificent maple floor with cherry inlay, overstuffed “finally finish that novel” reading chair, and 19th century writing desk, all reflected by a stunning antique floor-to-ceiling mirror. But perhaps the most memorable part of this room is the “Dream Shower” – enclosed in glass block, this double shower (yes, room for two!) features eleven jets, including a 12-inch rainforest showerhead.
This second story room is named for “Papa”, a fanatical baseball fan who, while living in Cuba built a baseball diamond that helped fuel that nation’s love of the game. Decorated with rich coffee walls, crown ceilings and a beautifully restored herringbone floor, the room’s décor hints of texture, but rewards with a sumptuous brass queen bed, overstuffed reading chair, a flat screen TV and features limited edition prints of renowned wildlife artist Morton Solberg. Its private bath features a Jacuzzi tub resting against the exposed brick of the mansion's original chimney.
This room in our Hall of Literary Offenses is named for Mark Twain, who, while writing at Quarry Farm, umpired baseball games in near-by Elmira, NY. The entrance to this second floor room is marked by a museum-commissioned portrait of Twain and a retelling of his essay on Cooper. It features original hardwood flooring, a private walk-in shower, a double sink converted from an antique dresser, flat screen TV, a king bed finished in designer linens, a bust of Mark Twain, antique baseball photos and some of the best breezes that blow through the Inn.
This spacious suite is named for one of America’s premier artistic families, and features limited edition reproductions of Andrew Wyeth. Among the Inn’s more generous rooms this second story suite offers new ash floors, limited edition prints, a deliciously comfortable queen bed draped in designer linens, as well as a private sitting area with a beautiful convertible leather love seat and large flat screen TV, a perfect place to pass a rain delay, or just unwind before dinner. The bathroom is large and bright and features a custom tiled rain shower.
Across the Hall of Literary Offenses, a custom reproduction of James Fenimore Cooper’s portrait by Chappel peers back at Twain and marks the entrance to this spacious and airy room. Relax in the plush wingback chair and enjoy the bird’s eye view of 160-year old maples right outside your window. The beckoning king bed, newly restored wood floors, spacious private bath with walk-in shower, and flat screen TV call you back after a day on the town… and draw many back each year.
Twelve-foot ceilings and fresh wooden floors create a wonderful sense of space for you and your family in this two-bedroom Cooperstown B&B suite with tiled walk-in shower. Garden themes surround the white queen sleigh bed in the main bedroom, while the headboards on two twin beds in the second bedroom are reminiscent of garden gates. Decorated in a summer’s palette, this airy suite is sure to please with large windows, writing desk and two flat screen TVs.
You deserve a getaway. Make an escape to the Daysailer room in our bed and breakfast in Cooperstown. The Daysailer is a sister room to Sunfish. This petite first floor room features a private outside entrance and pegged hardwood floors. The queen bed is topped with designer linens that hint of the beach. Breezes blow gently through the French doors that lead to your semi-private deck, stirring the linen curtains against the coral walls. On the porch you will enjoy views of the 2-acre property relaxing in Adirondack chairs beside the only orange tree in Cooperstown.
The Sunfish is a sister room to Daysailer and is ADA compliant. This petite room offers a king bed topped with designer linens that hint of the beach. Breezes blow gently through the French doors that lead to your semi-private deck, stirring the linen curtains against the coral walls. On the porch you will enjoy views of the 2-acre property relaxing in Adirondack chairs beside the only orange tree in Cooperstown. Enjoy a glass of local Riesling, gather with friends, or even read The Times (wouldn’t that be nice!).
This sumptuous room is located on the first floor with a private entrance. The queen bed is adorned with splendid designer linens. The herringbone hardwood floors – original to the house – lead to our signature bathroom which features both a double Dream Shower with nine body jets (yes, room for two!) as well as a separate soul-soothing Jacuzzi tub. Guests in this room will enjoy a private covered porch overlooking one of the herb gardens, a large circa 1860 sunlit bay window, flat screen TV, central air, and his-and-her reading chairs.
Got a mild wild side? St. Somewhere might be your perfect Cooperstown accommodation. Welcome to Duval Street (Key West), where luxury meets whimsy. Your lush king bed is topped with designer linens of terracotta. The walls are adorned with art collected from KW and the Islands. The magnificent Dream Shower (yes, room for two!) features six body jets. Two plush reading chairs invite you to curl up with the Innkeeper’s tattered copy of Jimmy Buffet’s, A Pirate Looks at Fifty or the morning’s paper. This room can also be connected to The Chance Suite for a luxurious suite.
Among the finest suites in Cooperstown, the newly remodeled Campanella Suite is our largest suite and part of the original mansion. Sitting on the first floor, off the lobby, it contains 11 foot ceilings and original 'summer' doors. A grand cherry king-size bed assures a pleasant sleep. Not tired? Wrap yourself in a cozy Landmark Inn robe, sit before the marble fireplace (seasonal) and read that book you've been meaning to. Or relax in Adirondack Chairs on your private sitting porch. And when you're ready, the new luxurious bath awaits. It features marble, a double vanity and a magnificent 'Dream Shower' for two. The 'Dream Shower' (a Landmark Inn exclusive) has three shower heads, four body jets and a handheld shower wand. Absolutely stunning.
