"We chose Nutmeg Inn as a convenient spot for a couple of days of kayaking in beautiful southern Vermont. Little did we know what a treat we were in for. The Inn is lovely - built in the late 1700s and recently renovated by the new owners with what was clearly a labor of love. It is just plain charming. The owners and innkeeper made us feel welcomed and fed us two wonderful breakfasts and a fantastic dinner. The Inn is a comfortable, homey place and we loved it. We've already spread the word to friends - it's a "don't miss it" kind of place!
