This was our fourth time staying at Oak Hill and every time has been consistently wonderful. Deb and Shell make it their mission to anticipate your every need and the house is impeccably maintained with gorgeous furnishings. It's an ideal place to relax and we look forward to many more stays.

My husband and I wanted to head to the mountains in October for a little fall getaway and we found Oak Hill on Love Lane. You never know what you're going to get in person (but that's part of the fun!), but the house and the room and the innkeepers were just as lovely in person as they were online. The bed and breakfast is very close to downtown Waynesville and just a short drive to Asheville. Our room was gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious each morning and they even give you a little take away bag with muffins that you can enjoy later in the day. Highly recommend Oak Hill on Love Lane.

We were impressed by the size of the rooms. Thought the breakfasts were a little too fancy but good.

Everything about our stay was superb. The owners, Shell and Deb, are there to make ones stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible, with a GREAT attitude. We enjoyed our stay so much just recently, that we have made reservations for next year, in May and October. Make your reservations now, and you will never regret it.

My wife and I just returned from a visit to Waynesville, NC, where we stayed at the historic Oak Hill on Love Lane B&B. The innkeepers, Shell and Deb Isenberg, provide their guests a wonderful experience! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and we greatly looked forward to the delicious breakast each morning. Shell and Deb are attentive to every detail....they are there when you need them, but they greatly respect your privacy and allow you to enjoy the inn and the area as you please. Staying at the Oak Hill on Love Lane greatly enhanced our enjoyment of Waynesville, as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park (both are located just minutes away). We plan to stay with Shell and Deb the next time we're in the Waynesville area. We have traveled quite a bit, but have never enjoyed our lodging more....kudos to the Isenbergs! James S., Tampa, FL

Our third stay at this lovely home. Deb and Shel take customer service to a whole new level. Only wish the Internet service was better.

The owners of this bed and breakfast inn know the true meaning of the word hospitality. This 100 year home is impeccable with beautiful and comfortable guest rooms. This was absolutely the best experience ever and I definitely will be returning here!

It took Ray two years to complete the home and he took great pride in utilizing only the finest materials available at the time. •Bedroom, Private Parlor And En-Suite Bathroom (first floor) •Two-Person Jacuzzi Tub •King Bed •North & West Mountain Views •Approximately 510 Square Feet •May be combined with Bess Ray Howell Room to create a two bedroom suite

Bobby Breese Suite - This suite includes a four-poster queen bed, private parlor and en-suite bath. Robert Hume Breese is the son of Jennie Elmina Ray-Breese, the 5th of 12 children born to Clyde and Ella Ray, and the eldest daughter. As the home passed thru the second generation, Robert and his family occupied the house for a number of years. Most of his family, including Ron Breese a prominent local realtor who represented the house, reside in Waynesville to this day and are very much connected to the original homestead. •Bedroom, Private Parlor and En-Suite Bathroom (second floor) •Standard Tub/Shower •Queen Four-Poster Bed •South & West Mountain Views •Approximately 430 Square Feet
Ella Davis-Ray, the matriarch of the Ray family, was a strong-willed and beautiful woman accustomed to all the luxuries of the time. Clyde, after much cajoling (and the advent of the railroad), convinced Ella to move to the budding town of Waynesville to raise their family. The story has it that after the birth of her 12 children, Ella, in an effort to insure her privacy, moved up to the guest room and promptly had a lock installed on the door! Needless to say, there were no more children after that. •Bedroom, En-Suite Bathroom (second floor) •Standard Tub/Shower •King Bed •Bay Windows •South & East Mountain Views •Approximately 340 Square Feet
