    Stylish, clean, and comfortable.

    Stayed here for one night. Excellent place--stylish, clean, and comfortable. Location was close (about 5min walk) to 125th street station--very quick trip to 42nd/times sq. The only negative thing I can say is that it was more expensive to pay on my credit card. $150 if I paid cash, $180 if I didn't--due to taxes. Wish I would have known this before arriving. Still cheaper than most hotels in NYC. Would definitely recommend.

    What a wonderful place

    What a beautiful surprise. Not only was this place ridiculously inexpensive (for NYC) but it was so clean and beautiful rooms. I am so glad I found this place and plan on using them again. The only downside of the place is that there is no true interaction with the innkeeper. Once you have your room you never see staff again, unless you call them. But I guess I am paying for the room not for a friend :). I would highly recommend this place for any traveler. Also, great location right near all of the major NYC subway lines. Had an awesome time in NYC.

    I have been there last summer. The neighbourhood was very quiet and safe. It was really easy to get in the downtown by train and the housekeeper was really kind. There were new towels in the shared bathroom everyday and it was clean, instead the room was never been cleaned since our arrival but we didn't stay long. I advise this place to everybody who doesnt want spend a loads of money and im sure they will be satisfied!!!

    Incredibly surprised

    I wasn't expecting much because of the low price. However, we received an excellent accommodation and the staff were extremely friendly and caring. All we needed to do was ask once for anything extra we may have needed and we rec'd it instantly with a smile. The entire place was extremely clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

    Had a lovely stay

    My family and I stayed for a week, this past September. We enjoyed every moment at this place. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any of our needs, any of our requests were met promptly (i.e. needed more towels), and the rooms were very well maintained and clean. The only drawback was that the inn was not in walking distance to major attractions. However, all the major metro/trains were located 2 blocks away, and a lot of the major attractions were only a few minutes via subway i.e Metropolitan Museum of Art. I would definitely stay at this inn again. Their prices are very reasonable for a city like Manhattan/NYC.

    Beds were horrible!

    Since the main focus of staying at a place is to sleep, you'd expect they'd have comfortable mattresses - not this place! ALL the beds were in terrible condition and dirty too. The pictures don't show how dirty the carpets really are. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, consider the stairs that you have to climb. The girl who helped us was very nice, though. The block is decent, but just around the corner can get very scary.
